I manage an arts and crafts store and have hundreds of buttons. Recently I decided to sew buttons that match on card stock so they would be more interesting than just putting them on a string. The cards are perfect and will up the presentation. I was glad to see you had some difficulty sewing the buttons on too. I jest keep getting the thread and card all tangled.

How wonderful! Glad you found a fun use for the cards. And - yes, sometimes those buttons want to fight you! haha

I love these buttons, Thank You. Is there any other way to make them glossy as I don't have embossing powder?
@MadPaperCrush Жыл бұрын
Thanks! You could try to use mod podge, a glossy medium or glossy accents to make them glossy.
@VioletteClark9 ай бұрын
You could also use UV resin for the same kind of results

Is 'glitter glue' a brand name? The only glitter glue I can find in Australia has sparkles in it, which I don't want. I love your buttons and button cards.
@MadPaperCrush2 жыл бұрын
It's actually called "Art Glitter Glue" - you can find it at the link below - but not sure if it translates to Australian (amzn.to/3cZuqNb). It's a water based adhesive that dries clear.

this is so great may i ask were to get the 2 hold punch that you use to put the holes in
@MadPaperCrush8 ай бұрын
Hi Carole! If you are talking about the whole punches, I used to create the buttons. I used the half inch punch is this one amzn.to/41OoctQ and the 1 inch punch is this one amzn.to/334pKSW Hope that helps!
@carolouimet28518 ай бұрын
hi ty but it was for the holes in your buttons there so perfect so i was asking how you got the 2 holes in your buttons@@MadPaperCrush
@MadPaperCrush8 ай бұрын
@@carolouimet2851 gotcha! I used this punch (amzn.to/3uNe2IJ) to make the holes in the buttons and I just eyeballed their placement.

How did you get the button cards so stiff?
@MadPaperCrush8 ай бұрын
I just printed them on heavy cardstock. If you don't have that, you could back them with a light weight cardboard, like recycled packaging or a box.
@favoritevideos69405 ай бұрын
Could these actually work on clothes? Thanks.
@MadPaperCrush4 ай бұрын
I don't think that would work. Since they are made from paper, they would probably fall apart if they got wet.
