Enjoyed your gift making ideas & asking a friend if they’d like help with a craft or something they’ve been wanting to make but didn’t get around to it is a grand idea! Thanks for the tips 👍 you mentioned an Advent Calendar swap…what a grand idea! I made several Advent Calendars this year for several of my best girl friends… they loved them.

Hello Romy, lovely vlog with some different ideas for gifts. I have read the book Sew on the go. It is a lovely read and so interesting how she finds all these different camping sites, (I borrowed it from my local library). See you soon. Happy sewing 🧵

I was so excited to see a new video from you!! Thank you so much for all these ideas, Romy, they are wonderful! I’ve been struggling to think of a smaller present for my mom and the bookmarks will be perfect. Love from Western North Carolina! ❤

Love all your ideas Romy, they are great! Adore your ‘monsters’ that’s a super idea for making them come alive. I must make some bookmarks as they are so handy and very useful. I have that book as my maiden name was Baxter and my aunt had the same name but she was known as Mae. I felt it would be interesting to read about another person with the same name. I felt very envious that she just took to the road and crafted her way around Europe! Break downs and finding places to stop that were safe was challenging at times too ! Anyway I enjoyed your gifts and need to get on with the long list 😂 I look forward to your next vlog already ❤

Offering to finish a project for someone is a great idea. So is just asking if there's something that they want or need for you to sew.

Hello, lovely ideas! I like the fabric cards. However, I don't have a serger/overlocker machine. Is there another way to finish the edges?
@harryburkett7754Ай бұрын
Might try zigzag stitch.
@RomySewsАй бұрын
@@marciakistner8977 yes I’m sure a zigzag stitch would work, or some domestic machines have an overlock stitch. You could also try stitching a line around the edge then using pinking shears to finish the edges :)
