Thank you so much for the video. I am a crocheter and some months ago decided to go for knitting, first time ever!!!!...I was not sure about it, but I found your video and the prefect project! thank you!!!!

I started knitting a blanket, and one of my friends asked me to knit her a crop top for summer. Found this video. All I've ever done in my life is rib stitched scarves, and now a seed stitch on the blanket. Watching you knit and looking at the notation, I'm seeing the POSSIBILITIES. I've spent hundreds of hours with BASIC knitting knowledge, so I was happy to see you not slowing down to a crawl speed to explain one little thing. I learned SO MUCH in just the first 3 minutes of this video. Think I'll try my hand at this soon. :)

I was wondering why and what it means when some of your instructions are in red? You not only do trendy cute tutorials but you have such fluid movements that really show your fantastic skills and talent. Thank you for all your time and work you put in to these for all of us. I’m knitting this project currently with the same exact needles and a yarn that’s the same weight yet it seems smaller than it’s supposed to be. I’m a crocheter who’s fairly new to knitting and am learning a lot from this video but I don’t understand why this is, can someone please help me?
@miaoumotherfrukers133225 күн бұрын
Hi, it might help to do a gauge swatch! in the description of this video there is a section that talks about knitting tension, which is 4”x4” of 24sts by 34 rows, this means that using the same yarn & needle size you should have a swatch that follows these measurements. However, if you notice your swatch of 24sts by 32 rows is smaller than 4”x4”, you can try sizing up your needles. It’s a hassle and admittedly annoying, but it can help you find the right needles to match the pattern. I tend to knit too loose, so I often have to size down needles to get the right size ^^; sorry for the rant & hope this helps!

on moment 2:14 she holds the yarn behind the needle with the right index finger. put on 0.25 speed so you'll see clearly. I had to watch the same part more than 30 times to get this part😂😂 when she holds the yarn behind and knit the next stitch that adds 1 more stitch. so you may finish R1 with 8 stitches ^^

Everytime you yarn over (YO) u automatically creating an extra stitch whether u knitting lace patterns or shape knitting like the traditional knit blue print of knitting pot holders starting off with 2 sts, then add yarn overs in between the q sts , for ex: RT: k1, (yo,2x) , k WS: knit all sts Now u have 4 sts back on the (RT) side so with 4 sts on the needle your are only going 2 increase in the middle , next like this. RT: k1. K1, (yo 3x) k1, k1 WS: Knit all sts, Now u see? U can go as high as u want ull see how it expanded as a wide 🔺️ just hope this helps give u a more closer and simple basic 💡 idea, happy 😊 knitting
