Really looking forward to seeing your mohair socks and hearing what you think of them. I have a a pair of commercially manufactured mohair socks that I wear in walking shoes. They are amazingly hard wearing and have lasted for years. They also keep your feet warm in winter and cool in the summer. Have a lovely summer and good luck in your new job.

My granddaughter loves it! I’m now making a fine vine lace scarf with yarn from Whistlebear it’s 1 skein yeavering bell 4 ply (80% whistlebear mohair and 20% whistlebear wensleydale! Colour-Under the bridge ❤It’s gorgeous next will be Eider duck ❤️💜❤️

Can’t wait for your sock lace tutorials as that will be my first socks from cuff down if you do it. I’ve only knitted one pair of socks toe up and that was it. So I’m a newbie in socks. The trio 2 linen colour is beautiful 😍 Isager yarn and gepard yarn are very expensive here on the Faroe Islands by the way.

The socks are looking great!! can't wait to learn to knit them! just have a question, from a person that doesn't know how to knit socks, I saw many ppl are using 4 needles to knit socks, I try it and I hate it (I started knitting but the needles keep falling out or sticking in my stomach), is there a technique with the circular needle that can be applied instead the 4 needles?

I think it’s a really good quality yarn for the price!! By no means my favourite, but a really solid choice (I have quite a few winter garments knitted in it).

yes I wear dr martens ‘sinclair’ boots almost every day!! also birkenstocks and occasionally trainers - I basically wear hand knit socks every day regardless of the choice of shoes
