Hello! I came across your videos when I decided to make doilies 3 days ago =) I start with the Irish doily and absolutely Love it. Your videos are so easy to follow! I'm in the process of making a Christmas gift where I'll be putting the doilies in a glass picture frame to hang on the wall. I Love the harvest doily but it is a bit large for my project. Is there a way that I can make it a bit smaller? I'd like to have around 15 inches or so. Thank You so much for your videos!!
@handmadebyraine2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Jennifer! I'm glad to hear my tutorials have been inspiring to you. I would recommend using thread size 20 and hook size 1.25 or 1.5 to make the Harvest Doily smaller. And I love the idea of framing the doilies, I have done that too! Happy crocheting!

Hi, I love your work. Very clear instructions. I was wondering - can I use hand dyed multicoloured yarn for this pattern? Or can you suggest a pattern for multicoloured yarn?
@handmadebyraine2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sheela, thank you! I made the Seashell doily with multi-color thread kzbin.info/www/bejne/oILZk4mPiL96fqM but this one may not be good for yarn as it has so many stitches on each round. Maybe you could try the Pineapple doily: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKTTe2eej5unkJI

Thanks, seashell doily is so beautiful. Will try it soon.💕

How many grams of yarn or how long is the yarn that you used for this pattern?

@@Hi-vs6ou There is nothing wrong, with so many stitches it will be wavy no matter what. You have to block it after finishing. You can also try smaller crochet hook. I tend to crochet quite tightly.
