One of the things I like about you guys is that you show a lot of different, but popular. brands

Beyond the GP being gorgeous, it sounds like a cannon! Good job to Cooper and Chris on this custom.

That GP is simply gorgeous. Well done!

I agree that the GP stands out ! Good demo all around. I was impressed at the build quality attention when I went to the factory several years ago.

The GA is beautiful, but the GP's sonic depth won me over.

I love the footage and perspectives. I’m a simple walnut side and spruce top kinda guy. I only own a big baby Taylor. We are what make the sound and the end of day I think..

That GP sounds incredible. Jeez!

Both of these are outstanding. Actually think the wood and binding/ inlays are so beautiful and just perfect. Even like the sound of both. For me the GA, but would not hesitate to be given the GP😍

Two gorgeous and great sounding guitars. Nice job! That must've been a blast to geek out with Andy and JR over those woods, and dream up those customs. Either one of those would be welcome at my house. I agree wholeheartedly with your choice of finishing touches, as well. But what I really want to know is: when are we going to hear some demos of the new 50th anniversary models?

Beautiful. I’ll take two of each please.

I know I’m old, a guitar player since the ‘60’s. I’m definitely more of a traditionalist, although I’ve got guitars with cocobolo, Myrtle wood, ovangol, walnut, cherry. Also my preferred combos of spruce/mahogany, spruce/rosewood or ALL mahogany. Guitars and their woods can look and sound beautiful. I’ve got two with bling and they are custom, expensive guitars, but for me, once I sit down with a guitar to play, the looks are the last thing in my mind. That’s probably just my generational bias but I would lean towards this “standard “ style guitar. Thank you for your video

Next guitar for you guys to spec out. GS body without the extra sound port, just regular venetian cutaway. Ebony back and sides(not macassar ebony, same ebony as e14ce) and either a sinker redwood top or preferably a dark well roasted/torrefied Adirondack top. Then finish it off with some extremely flamed koa binding. It would also be cool for the fretboard & bridge to be ebony and have some slight striping/figuring in it. Not sure how it would sound, but man it would be gorgeous!🔥🔥🔥

Any thoughts on doing short scale customs (grand concert 24-7/8”) on GAs or GPs?

Great guitars and demo. I would love to hear the GA as a 12 fret playing fingerstyle.

Either one for me please (but was the GA slightly out of tune on one string?)

A question. I read about the Taylor custom guitar program and I wonder how far the customization goes. Is it only about wood choice, inlays and other things that do not alter the fundamental sizes of the guitar? For example, can you ask for 7 string with a 24 7/8 inch scale length and custom string spacing at the nut?
@AlamoMusic11 ай бұрын
Good question. The Taylor custom program is ever evolving. They have made 9 strings before. Not sure about a 7 string but there are some things we can try and venture into. Some things you cannot do right now like a custom body depth but perhaps it may be an option in the future. - Chris

@@jed1166 Yes I never had the opportunity to play live. Just played for friends at home for ten years now. I understand the issue. You need pickup for gigs in different venues. ✌
