Full tone makes dang good stuff. His tape delay is spectacular as well. His Deja-vibe is also excellent. OCD, Plimsoul, Ranger, 2B boost, Full Drive…. All excellent at what they do, and his stuff is built extremely well.

I own a lot of Fulltone pedals, not only do they sound great they are good quality made products. I wish Fender would have made a bunch more 57-59 original Tweed Bassman, Deluxe, and Twin amps back in the day. Those amps rock but you need a bank roll to buy one now.

Great sounding rocker wah. Typical though, I just bought a new wah. But I'm not disappointed 'cause after much research into boutique wahs I ended up just getting a standard CBJ95 Cry Baby Junior. It's affordable, fits comfortably on my pedalboard, easy to use, has 3 voicings on an external switch, an LED, and best of all it makes exactly the sound that's in my head when I think of wah. I found that all the "improvements" that address all the "problems" with this pedal just deprive me of the experience that I'm craving from a wah pedal. Its not meant to be Hi-Fidelity. I just want that awesome Lo-Fi gnarly classic wah sound. Thanks.

@Slowpoke Exactly!! I have owned a lot of wah pedals, some very "deluxe" lol. My current gig wah is the CBM95 Cry Baby Mini. So, I can definitely relate!

I have a Clyde Deluxe and it is pretty sweet. I have a Dunlop Dimebag wah that I like but it doesn’t play nice with my fuzz. No problems with the Fulltone.
@CorbCorbin2 жыл бұрын
I almost got this one, but I went with the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe, which has three of the voicings, the buffer, and levels for the wah and buffer. It works in front of Fuzz Faces, without losing any tone, and I can get Jimi to Curtis Mayfield, with it.

@christopherclarke52542 жыл бұрын
The only "negative" I've heard of this wah is a short time-lag before the effect comes on. Allegedly this was engineered deliberately. Thinking about it, I consider it a benefit. We are used to the wah turning on at the top frequency of the sweep, but I imagine the short delay lets you quickly move the pedal (should you want) to any other point. Sounds like a "plus" to me! So if the current run has this feature, hope you mention it, and give us your opinion, pro or con. Thanks, C. 🎶

I am going to do a in depth review on it soon. I'll check that out.

BRETT PAPA, try using an ONBOARD guitar preamp buffers like the Alembic preamp, EMG preamp, Eric Clapton Preamp circuit because this turns signal coils into sounding like humbuckers which are boosters that are designed to sound like a humbucker. This will drive the wah pedal to get those CREAM wah tones. Try to do a video lesson about using various onboard preamp buffers. Jerry garcia used alembic preamp inside his guitar so his colorsound wah sounded different because of that alembic preamp driving the wah pedal.

It sounds like the same ol problem I've always had with wahs - when you out it on the 'tone down bass' position, it's like it loses output. I can't find a WAH where it's the same potency/strength all the way through. Am I wrong about this pedal?
