Threads will go hundreds of pages. Smdh. It's usually all pretty ridiculous.

@@MannysWorldd I also learned a lot from JHS about pedals, tones, a bunch of other companies, which lead me into other channels, where I learned even more. I used to use my Line 6 POD HD Pro, but I spent more time tweaking than playing. It's been difficult creating great tones on it, because I didn't really have a reference tone. But when I built my first pedalboard ever at the start of 2020 (it has grown since then), I have been able to find my base tone, embellish it a bit, but also go crazy with a bunch of effects. It's a much simpler setup than a digital modeller gives, there's no option paralysis, but I've still got a lot of versatility.

I love all the white space on the series 3 pedals and that you can draw on them with markers. I think you should do an episode where you have elementary school kids come in and draw on each of the pedals, giving them keywords like Fuzz, crunch, waves, chorus, etc. Then, you can auction off the pedals and give the profits to a non-profit for music education.

Well said Josh. And brilliant how you get people to participate. Side note...white is cheaper than red every time you buy any paint. I bought one, in white, and it's fantastic. Best around and reasonably priced. Also, loved what you said about the Boss pedal founder. He's right and you were wise enough to listen to someone successful at a business you're in. Go jhs.

Wow! What a great lesson on how to deal with other people's insecurity. Listening to many of these comments makes me want to ask, "Who hurt you?" Josh you and your team have grown a community built around fun and warmth. You just need to read the responses below to see that. I hope you will consider bringing out a "Mixolydian Transistor Fuzz" pedal. You know, just for smart musicians......Not white though!

Josh, I love your channel! I find it very refreshing that a company owner would talk about and even sometimes recommend other companies pedals. The very first video I saw of yours was the one on JOYO pedals and how theyre actually not bad for what they are. I was researching pedals because at 48, Ive decided to revisit a childhood dream of mine to play guitar and having a love of electronics to boot, pedals just fascinate me. All that led me to buy over 20 pedals before Ive even learned how to play. Granted I bought a bunch of either used good name brand pedals and some cheaper ones like JOYO and Donner because Im fascinated with all the different sounds. I havent even really started playing yet and Im having a ball just playing with pedals and their sounds. Dont have any JHS pedals yet but Id be happy to buy some later on down the line eventually just to support your company because of your live and let live mentality. Ive never understood the people that say this is good or this is bad when it comes to music or art. I like to say, this isnt for me but if it floats your boat then keep on doing what you like! Music/Art is completely subjective, IDK why a lot of people dont seem understand that. Anyway, keep up the good work and the positivity of this channel!!!

This show is the best entertainment anywhere! I mean, where else can I experience top level knowledge about the most important subject on the planet, pedals, and where the same people laying down the knowledge are capable of improvising jam after jam? Okay wait. Back up. How many people are improvising music live online, period? How many people that criticize you guys are capable of doing that? I would venture a guess of maybe 1% at best. The rest need to shut up because they don't know anything and don't matter. As for knowledge of pedals, I don't need to explain to the haters of pedals how wrong they are. They are not worth my energy or time. Those of us who understand the basic need for pedals as a fact of life are the only ones that are worthy of a show of this caliber. Keep up the great work and keep on rockin'! And Turtles Rule!!!! -- Violet Moon

This was the best video you guys ever made. Some of the cutaways like the one about gaslighting and Josh is just staring at the camera with no comment are just hilarious. Some of the messages are just too quotable. lol This went exactly how I figured and I'm happy to see that. I'm always tuning in and out when I see another great informative video on company history that I'm interested in. The things like "he has the box" are just icing on the cake. For the record It's never even crossed my mind once that you were pedaling, pun intended, or selling something on this show. Again, Nice job, I laughed this whole episode. By the way the theme song is fine the way it is. It has always evoked a feeling of nostalgia which is perfect.

I know it's late to the party, but we love this show and everyone on it. I've never played a JHS pedal before watching this show, but I literally received a few 3 Series pedals yesterday. They sound amazing, the quality is pristine (also grabbed a Morning Glory, absolutely beautiful). More importantly though, and the reason I am commenting, is that I keep coming back to this channel because of the people on it and the plethora of information and history is astounding. Everyone is awesome. Please, everyone on the show, don't change a thing, keep being yourselves, keep being you (especially you Nick, much love bro, you rock).

Josh, I dig your playing. You do what you do, and the joy you take in it is obvious. I always enjoy your take on things, and I have a lot of fun watching. Those who watch and feel compelled to send nasty notes are deeply dissatisfied with aspects of their own lives, and lashing out is the only way they feel they can build themselves up. The rest of the staff are cool, supportive and talented. Keep on keepin' on, folks!

Guys, I used to play guitar since I was a kid. In my teens I used a Digitech multi-effect that was super affordable and wasn't very good. After 15 years I sort of moved on and didn't really play for a few years. Two years ago my daughter was born and there was a time, when she only would sleep on my chest while I was sitting on the couch. So she would sleep and I was awake in the middle of the night and had nothing to do. Then the youtube algorithm lead me to one of your videos, I don't remember wich one, but honestly: Josh, you got me hooked on my guitars again! I started playing in a band again, sold the crappy Digitech and started building a proper pedalboard. My first JHS pedal was the 3 Series Chorus and then I just had to get the Muffuletta. You guys are amazing, quirky, funny, weard and loveable!

It's impossible to please people these days, and I love the fact that it's like water off a duck's back for you. I, for one, love the laid back feel of the show. I literally haven't owned a single JHS pedal, yet, but it's in the works, lol. Side note: I just happen to love the theme song! When I first came to the channel, it was the first thing that caught my attention.

1st of all, Nick is awesome! I love his drumming style and I'd love to jam with him. I'm primarily a thrash metal player and I never use pedals but I still watch almost every episode because they're fun, educational and put me in a good mood. Even though I usually plug straight into an amp I still enjoy learning about the tonal possibilities that are available. The JHS crew seem like a bunch of genuinely great people that love what they do. I also love that the Instagram account highlights female artists. Keep being who you are!!
