Lately I really like their designs, they managed to blend elegance, sportiness and classicism. They are working great. The size is correct, it's their heritage, it's what one would expect from a breitling chrono.

@@WatchAdvisor och well, I think I've pretty eclectic tastes. I'll happily wear a £10 casio or a £7000 rolex but I like a watch to be purposeful in its design. If its a dress watch, it has to be a dressy watch. If its a diver, that is its purpose. I find with a lot of breitling's catalogue collections I don't know what they're doing; Professional, Avenger, Chronomat, Aviator 8, Navitimer - so many variations of a chronograph, there's no clear direction yet. I like a brand to metaphorically say; "here we are and this is what we are about."

guillaume The B01 ranks among the best chronograph calibres of the industry! The designs are absolutely cool and finally can be “digested” by a broader group of buyers. Breitling under CEO George’s Kern in my humble opinion has changed to become much more attractive in the last years...

Great review. A very beautiful watch. A very fine movement. An average bracelet - I'd wear on leather, I think. Breitling's Premier range shows that they can do things right. To me, the best looking chronograph from the big manufacturers. Could be improved 2mm smaller perhaps, but it's not a bad size. When I look at these I don't understand why Breitling is out of fashion.

Breitling is changing its appearance and therefore it will take some more time until the brand 100 % back on track ... Today it is about easy to "digest" retro-modern designs and no longer being an outfitter for military/police special units... ANTWORTEN

Consider that Breitling is one of the few brands that offer timeless designs, without a doubt this is an incredible piece, its dimensions make it a watch with a classic presence, personally I would dress it with a vintage leather strap that would give it a more unique sobriety than a Confident man, this model as well as the Navitimer are my choice at Breitling.

Stunning chronograph. Most likely... is stunnest Breitling ever! But my persional favorite version of simple b&w panda dial (not reverse panda) on matte grey nubuck calfskin strap with folding clasp (pin buckle a little bit uncomfortable on this watch, because they are heavy)

@@WatchAdvisor yes I agree. I do prefer the look of this model over the Chronomat model (it is stunning too.) In my opinion the 2 sub dials seem to make the watch more balanced. A Norton with stainless steel band would work too. :-) Bloody Karona Virus :-(

Both my B01 chronograph Breitlings have a very firm first start click. Then the others much softer. I guess it's the column wheel that does that. But on my mono pusher trans ocean 1915 it's so pleasant and easy and it's movement is a modified B01 so who knows😊. Very nice watch but at a lug to lug of 50 Breitling is pushing it again. Very nice review Alexander.

Still a very handsome design overall. I particularly like the horizontal striations engraved into the sides of the case. But my favorite variation is still the 🐼 if I were to go with a reverse 🐼 it would be the Norton edition with the gilt hands & numerals.

No, the crown is not included. It is the diameter of the case "only" ... Breitling now finally offers more attractive designs linked to its heritage... Something I always missed...

Thickness is the main area of improvement...and perhaps the bracelet (a bit too shiny, needs more brushed parts imo) otherwise a good looking chrono

WatchAdvisor I have Breitling Chronomat Airborne with B01 Movement, The B01 is absolute wow in my Watch in 7 days none of a second plus or minus is like quatz, unbelievable corect And I have also Aerospace Evo Night Mission, Titan is great, The Watch is slim But textil strap is not So great, I changed with a smarald Green croco strap and Now is wow IWC is another story is more clasical, I Tell you on a review of IWC because on this review is not polite for Breitling :) keep going You make a such a good job 🙏🏻 congrats from all my heart 💙

WatchAdvisor I can’t really say what it is that I don’t like about the B01 series, which is why I didn’t really try to explain (this is all completely subjective, of course). But when I was recently shopping in this configuration-price range, these models more-or-less fell through the cracks. Technically they struck me as superb watches and their design, execution and technical prowess do represent a big step forward for Breitling. But there is too much here that struck me as unoriginal or derivative - the watches just did not “grab” me, the way I want a new watch to, with a new or unique perspective compared to something I previously own or owned. For example, the movement is undeniably a valid answer to the Omega coaxials (9300 and 9900) but it struck me that it was just that: an “answer” to Omega rather than Breitling’s own expression of its art. Same with the watches overall biaxial design, size and heft. Having owned the Omega Speedmaster ‘57, this piece just did not strike me as offering enough that was new and exciting, to have purchased it. Their AVI 765 revival, on the other hand, DID inspire me and, if I were to have purchased a Breitling, it would have been my choice in Breitling. In fact, the AVI tied with the Glashütte Original Senator Chronograph Panorama Date for ‘second place’ in my chronograph rankings in the range I surveyed (JLC Polaris Chronograph became my ultimate choice). The Breitling simply was a touch too unoriginal and derivative for my taste at the time. But this night change.

Only when they are in their natural habitat - the wrist - you can let your heart decide and this is what you MUST do ... Never buy rationalities, always buy emotional ...
