Hands-On Deluxe Battleship: Movie Edition | Totally Rad Show

We play Battleship: The Movie Edition to get ourselves ready for Battleship: The Movie.
The big budget movie is coming later this week, but in the build up, Alex and Jeff learned that Dan had never played the classic Hasbro game Battleship. And as fate would have it, a new electronic version of the game has just been released to coincide with the film. The guys pop open the box, throw in some batteries (which were not included), and see if the tried and true game of hits and misses holds up.

I had the original Battleship when I was a kid my parents bought it for me in the the late 70's.I always wanted the electronic too.a few years ago bought the regular battleship.I always like to use the destroyer as my main flagship is the hardest to catch.

This electronic version takes the fun out of playing this classic game. You basically have prerecorded commands tell you what to do and what's going on. You may as well play against a computer and forget about the human aspect of the game.

I had the old 90s Electronic battleship. Wish i still had it for the kids i work with. This new one seems like a decent update of it. Tho when you missed on the old one, it was a water splash sound.

If you only want basic play, stay with a 10 x 10 grid version battleship. This one is 10 x 14 grid for the advanced weapons. Search planes and radar made short work of the two peg ships when used correctly and the performing craft are not shot down or destroyed. This model allows advanced weapons against the computer. Previous models did not. The latest Battleship live is interesting but falls back to an exclusively two player game.

I found that Battle Ship Advanced Missions 2000 also has advanced weapons against the computer and it protects its recon planes.

Battleship is VERY much like transformers, it's going to be a stupid movie, but it will still be fun to watch. P.S. DAN HAS NEVER PLAYED BATTLESHIP!!!!????

i hated both battle la and transformers 2 and 3, but battleship has a great so bad its good quality
