Hi! Just received the same phone today. Problem is, the microphone volume is really low. You can barely hear the sound during calls and with the videos I've recorded. Is that normal on this phone? Coz if it is, I might just return it. Thanks in advance!

Ahhhm yes. Umidigi at it again with the perfect beach phone 😂 Besides not having WideVine L1 support. But the Dimensity chip is pretty impressive, for that class of SoC, in my opinion. Budget phones, in general, have definitely come a long way

You're absolutely right, budget phones have come a long way! To be able to play a demanding game like genshin on a $300 ish phone is impressive. Still no widevine supprt which should be super easy, or at least you'd assume so 🫠

So is Umidigi going to screw over their customers like they did with the original Bison GT? I am a day one owner of the Bison GT and absolutely love the phone, the Helio G95 SOC is ok for the price, the performance despite the underpowered G95, the design, etc etc ... the problem? Well I've had this phone for almost 2 years now and Umidigi has released exactly 1 UPDATE!!! So basically owners of the original Bison GT were conned into purchasing this "flagship" (Umidigi's own words) phone and at the 2 year mark we are stuck on Android 10 with the latest (and literally ONLY) security patch from May 5th 2021! That is ridiculous.... I recently bought my daughter a Bison Pro and it gets updates monthly if not weekly! So I guess Umidigi abandoned the original Bison GT immediately after release.... I won't be making the mistake of ever purchasing another Umidigi product again.

I would not recommend umidigi anymore as 2 phones that i got started to have problems soon after including the bison i believe.

Hi, I had trouble connecting my Bluetooth earpiece, the phone finally recognized it. Now when a phonecall is connected the person cannot hear me, I hear them very well. Even when I try to record a message to text someone it tells me to try again. what do you think is the problem?

After the Umidigi A7Pro( still working) I now typing this with a Bison 1. Perfect top phone, only thing is the mic. But ill wait if the Bison 2 is replaced by the 3.I wont hesitate buying the Bison 2😊

I connected it to my desktop but cannot figure out how to transfer files. Computer cannot see the folders on the 256GB internal drive which renders it rather useless. Does anyone know how to transfer files from a desktop to this phone?

What issues have you run into? I've noticed two things that are annoying. 1. KZbin sometimes keeps buffering. 2. The 'hey google' assistant will break every now and again - every time after a reboot of the phone. A temp fix is to delete the data for both apps.

I haven't noticed any problems when I was using it, but these glitches and bugs were a common complaint on this phone if you look at the reviews on amazon. I will try to have an update video in a bit as this is my phone I'm using on daily basis.

Pior ainda, apaga a tela ao usa o Zap, o AirBuds U original que comprei junto não funciona do GT2 Pro, conecta e funciona em vários Smartphones, conecta mas não funciona no GT2 Pro! O Bison Pro ficava sumindo o áudio do auricular!!! Até agora só a câmera me agradou!!! Fracos no geral!!!!

I have the original Umidigi Bison w/ T-mobile. There is a notorious issue with GPS where it either can't keep lock, or constantly changes street directions with google and other map/directions software. Does the Umidigi Bison GT2 5G Pro have the same issue? Features I need to be rock stable, phone, Camera, WiFi calling, & GPS. **EDIT 6.10.24** I purchased a UMIDIGI BISON GT2 Pro 5G off Aliexpress, and have been using it for about 3 weeks. So far happy with it. I can confirm that there is not a GPS issue on this device. It's accurate within 200ft. With a bit of setting tweaks, installing various f-droid open-source apps, and other changes all is working with notifications as well.

Most people use their cell phones for calls, texts, Facebook and other social media, checking email. Reading the news, etc ... Even though a high end iPhone or Samsung or other can do so much more.... I found a new phone that does whatever I need...and is compatible with my Tesla... I have no issues.

@@SURVEYSEZ you are correct. I bought a Tesla because my daily driver was a Ford F150 isn't economical to drive on my daily commute for work. I still have the truck as I need it for various things. I can tell you two years ago I wasn't even thinking about an electric car. I bought it new sight unseen. Don't regret it at all. My opinion on EV's have completely changed after driving this car. I love it!

Umidigi policies are that of con artists. Knowing that their products are of an inferior quality they side with the reseller's lesser warranty, whatever it is, meaning they never have to honor their 1-year warranty promise to their fans. Like scumbags, they neglect their loyalty but whatever the outcome, I thank Joom for their supportive response in trying to find a positive solution. Umdigi on the other hand remains cold and distant even on their fan support page. Not the brand I would want to support. After only 4 months of use the phone sensors failed, problems with the signal and connection between pc and phone, and most disappointing the low quality camera even though the specs boast otherwise.

I bought a bison pro and it dropped and broke on the ninth day I owned it, It fell less than 30 inches out of my pocket. These phones are junk chinese mass produced crap. My phone had a whole bunch of positive reviews do not believe the hype. CRAP there is nothing rugged about them except the look. Do not buy unless you like disappointment.

This phone is piece of s..t! Dual sim not working, battery overheat from just laying on the table. Does not work with GoogleFi and has problems with TCom network. Besides that it has some nifty features but it is useless as a phone. This is $300 nice looking brick! Avoid at allcosts.

Thanks for the typical amazon comment,.... where people judge the phone base on their carrier and its bands or bad network...or a other 100 other issues that might not actaully have nothing to do with he phone. Umidigi is selling it for $500 in Canada when there are no discounts. Any basic discounts will probably be no more than $40 like most phones unless its black friday.

UMIDIGI X and spare one is 2018. UMIDIGI MAX ONE...both still working perfectly. That is the reason I've bought BISON for my son travelling Europe (festivals...beaches)...so he can have US and local SIM in one phone...turns out it was Dud. Imagine my disappointment....and those SIM combos works in old UMIDIGIs with no problem. I made that post to warn people not to buy faulty device. $500 you say....? If you are not UMIDIGI paid troll, I would like to offer this fine piece of electronic to you for $250. It is brand new...NEVER USED! 🙂🙂 Put your money where you mouth is.. ;-)

@@zochbuppet448 yeah. Everyone blames the phones for their band problems. In the US, Verizon and T-Mobile are the best for Umidigi devices, especially Verizon. Also, Google Fi is the T-Mobile network. I don't see why it's not working for OP.
