As a Sickle cell patient I've spent years of my life total in a hospital bed I've been dealing with Dr's for my entire life and some of the worst personalities I've seen is in them! They think they can't be wrong and sure people who read symptoms on Google aren't experts, but such as my case however I always know what's going on when my Sickle cell is acting up yet time after time again I come across a doctor who isn't a expert nor hematologist tell me what I am or am not feeling and what will or won't for me. Even with me being able to tell them from jump exactly how long my process lasts exactly how long it takes for my blood count to drop and I'll need blood transfusions when I'll start running a fever and other things I've never once been wrong when telling them this and yet they then are almost mad when I'm right smh. I'll even tell them just how routine what I'm asking for actually is and that if they take 2seconds to look at my chart everything I say can be proven and the regimen I'm asking for is the same exact thing that I've now been getting at my current hospital for 15yrs, and only about 1 out of 6 doctors will listen to me from the get go. Instead they all assume that my years of charted history is wrong the years of my regimen that's proven to work with me will now change because they say so say so! And they can't be wrong. I've also had convos and even roommates of other sicklers who go through the same, Doctors who also aren't specialized in our disease who barely know the minimum completely disregard our input which common sense would tell them we aren't people who went to WebMd. We're Teen/Grown adults who've dealt with this since the day we were born there is no other person who knows more about what's "normal/wrong" with us atm so maybe just maybe your ego can take a backseat for half a second?

There was something edited out of his episode. The girl at the end actually popped her balloon when he introduced himself because he mentioned wanting two girlfriends. The producer on the show gave her another balloon because they weren’t gonna include that in the episode because it’s not something they align with or wanted to promote. She ended up finding another reason to pop her balloon. I think she said she didn’t think she was his type. She has a video on her page where she shows the edited out clip.

Most of the people they invite back multiple times are good choices, on paper, who just had bad luck with matches. They haven't invited Elom back since this episode when he was prioritizing a poly relationship more than a traditional one, which is more so what they promote. Instead of inviting people like him and Aaron the plumber back they seem to be going the route of inviting a content creator or 2 to broaden the audience.

So on point! I needed 'emergency' root canal, once. . I was also hospitalised once after I almost lost my life and needed immediate care. And that def. puts things into perspective. No matter how painful; a root canal can always wait a day😂 in the USA, a dental emergency is just a moneygrab for a dentist. who isn't even allowed to use the title 'Dr' in my country. You can only call yourself 'doctor' if you have a doctorate degree. Like all surgeons a have. A family 'doctor' is called a 'practitioner'in my language. Not a doctor. They are medically trained to a bachelor degree level. Anyone can do a bachelaureate, with hard work. Not everybody is cut out to get a doctorate or Masters. They made me wait a day! I called a 24hr dental centre and they said:"it's not an emergency. If you come in now; you have to pay a LOT.. If you wait until morning, you will still need a rootcanal but it'll cost you nothing.We understand it hurts butthis service is really for people who don't have insurance. You have insurance. As dentists we tell you: it can wait a day. Its not a heart attack" Ah the perks of living in a socialist democracy.😂 people keep it real. A rootcanal is not a heart attack. A dentist is not an ER doctor or an ER nurse that saves lives. A dentist is merely a very educated teeth cleaner.

Anyone who’s worked in the medical sector know most doctors ain’t shit. All the work is done by nurses, the doctors are never present, the only time they have some form of involvement is when a nurse needs to contact them for permission to give a certain medication or treatment. And if they are present, is only for about 2 minutes where they say “hello, how are you” and “goodbye” to a patient, look at their blood work and tell nurses to give some kind of medication. If that doctor has a nurse practitioner, he gives all the work to that nurse practitioner because they can prescribe medication as well. A lot of doctors are egotistical to cope with the fact that yes, they make the decisions, but they are only involved in 1% of what goes on in a hospital. Nurses and technicians deserve more respect.

The nurses worked in tandem with the doctors. I didn't see them as often as I did the nurses but they had the same demeanor. My doctors always made me feel as if they actually knew me. That's because the nurses informed them about more than just my medical charts. They filled them in about what kind of person I am and they listened.

​@@AntaigonistI live in Europe. In my country, a dentist or GP carries the title of 'practitioner'. They have baccalaureate degrees. The cannot call themselves Dr/Drs. The word we use is 'Arts'. Which relates to the root of the word for 'artisan' or 'artist'. A trained practitioner. A surgeon or medical specialist has a Masters degree and can teach and/or publish works. They use the title of Doctor when they practice And professor when they teach or publish. Which is a requirement for attaining that degree. A designation only reserved for those who have attained the designation of Master in their respected field of expertise through proven abilty(bachelor)and exceptionalism(master). In the US you can call yourself 'doctor' if you do teeth cleaning. Or you can say you attended a Harvard funded dentistry facility and call yourself a 'Harvard Graduate'. Overhere, words and titles still have meaning.

I have to disagree with you on that one. To become a cardiologists you have to first complete medical school, then specialize on cardiology. But to become a dentist your only have to go to dental school. Basically cardiologists can choose to become a General medical doctor while a dentist does not qualify.

Both courses are intense & in both courses you earn a degree that titles you as a doctor. You're arguing semantics based on what they're qualified to do as a doctor. Dentists earn either a Doctor of Dental Surgery or a Doctor of Dental Medicine. So to say they're not a doctor when that's what their degree says makes zero sense to me. I never said a dentist & a cardiologist are both MDs. I only said that they're both doctors cause they are.

Doctor of philosophy, Doctor of civil engineering, chiropractors etc. All these people are doctors by the fact they have PhDs, but when a person generally refers to someone being a doctor they specifically mean a medical doctor. But with that said I do think dentist should be regarded as doctors or "Medical doctors" to be specific due to the fact that they do conduct minor surgeries, tooth extractions, and all that good stuff.
