I generally played Rhys like this in the first episode and then started to warm up to the group and change his personal values. Which worked well for the story like actual character development on my part haha

Yeah its very sad cause even if you choose to be a total d*ck the whole game, Rhys at the end of the game still says he has learned that money isn't everything and he wanna be different than Handsome Jack and Vasquaz and other hyperion leaders. But no they just throw that away and now he is like a mix of Vasquaz and Handsone Jack I feel. Who knows, maybe there is a reason behind it, maybe Jack or parts of him is still somehow in Rhys' brain affecting him. But for now when that doesn't seem to be the case it just sucks seeing him go down that road and toss aside all this character development from the first game. Like he made Atlas' motto "the might dollar" and fires employees for having "bad" ideas or ideas that won't sell well! How is that "I realized money is importabt but it isn't everything"? He is no different from the other conpanies, and this repeating pattern of all companies being fucked up with a shitty CEO is starting to get boring. We don't need the perfect company, we just need something new and different.

They say the choices have no real consequences but its the little things... When I think about it it isn't that good that that is such a big critique point point. It's a big waste of resources to make a big quantity of different routes when they could be used for a smaller scale high quality project. All these small details ppl can discover make a game seem that much bigger. In fact most people would be exhausted by wildly varying routes and paralyse.
