As a Canadian my understanding of don't tread on me is Libertarian trope about government meddling in their business. The yellow snake flag that was all over the place during the January 6th invasion of your capitol is the don't tread on me flag.
@TheAccidentalViking5 ай бұрын
I thought it was a Texas thing, but it goes way back the Revolutionary War. Current politics and culture have adopted it and changed its meaning, like so many things. It's called the Gadsden Flag, if that helps to look it up.

To go off of Tig’s date recipe: I butterfly cut a date, fill it with goat cheese and very very finely chopped walnuts, wrap half a slice of bacon around it, bake it for 10-15 minutes, and drizzle with either maple syrup or hot honey while still warm. People go wild. They can easily be customized and veggie/vagan-ized depending on who you’re serving. ❤

Y’ALL the no homo but around 10:25…. That phrase was super popular when I was in middle school and me and my other queer friends were so annoyed at first… but then we adopted the phrase in our own ways, one classic one was “yes homo”… but we LITERALLY eventually would just say “no homo” in totally uncalled for locations, like after saying anything nice at all, or when telling someone good/bad news…. If we had less social wherewithal, we would for SURE be saying it in customer service 😂

This episode had me outright crying! I want all your families to be made into a sitcom where you are all neighbors.

Tig, gardening is just putting seeds in and watering them. 😂 just do it. You live where you can grow year round! No better time to start than now!! Plus, it's GREAT for kids to do.. they love it. My 2.5 yr old grew his own peas this spring... signed, a gardener. Ps. Pumpkins grow that easily!!!! And one plant can take up a huge area/produce so many pumpkins.

I looked up “no homo” on the urban dictionary. Because I’m really old and a country homo and I never heard this phrase. (I’m fairly sheltered at this point). They say…. “A word used to show that whatever you did no matter how gay isn't gay as long as you say no homo.” Apparently, it affirms one’s heterosexuality. Or perhaps I should say, one’s dubious heterosexuality, because honestly why else why are they doing anything stereotypically gay? Duh.

I was scared to cut my own hair but I went for it. I cut little bits at a time and I get better at it each time. I used to pay 25 bucks for my cuts and they only got it right once so yeah 👍 I get compliments all the time. Also get called sir sometimes 😂 it's always old people. My mom said I shouldn't correct them. Wtf? I always correct them in the most respectful way possible. The idea of not correcting them seems insane to me.
