His comeback was such a surprise and it was so emotional. My first bigbang song was Haru Haru, waaaaaay back. I've been a fan of big bang since then and as you know, it's been a rollercoaster ride, haha. I loved this song because it really had HIS sound in it, you could tell he made it. Oh and also I picked up some references from his "crayon"-vid in here, both the tiny car and the greenery scene with the flowers in the car in the beginning. But I'm also not surprised at all, seeing as how he's always been very sure about what he wants to portray with his image and his music, and all of this is very much "classic GD-style", even if it's also new and fresh. This song and video is like a welcome back-thing, showing one again that musical genius with a sense of artistry that few can match. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

Apart from the lyrics, there are also a lot of references to his previous MVs. The red veiled people are seen in coup d'etat, the little car is part of the CROOKED mv, the train is part of michiGO; he also stated on a recent program that he was inspired by the truman show and you can kinda see how this is filmed that it reflects that.

One thing people forgot is that the lyrics grow with him, his fans can grow with his lyrics. Even if I'm not korean, I can sense the wordplay. Especially beautiful being myself and it actually rhymes..I can sense his struggles with identify watching his videos off the set, stage and in front of cameras in airport etc. People mistaking him for being weird but I can sense his anxiety being watched so closely so it's struggling between kwon jiyong & GD.
