handstand movement research

exploring handstands that are off-center, asymmetrical, softened, bent, twisted, tilted, more organic, more alive, and more human. I want use handstands as a choreographic language through which to dance, incorporating breath, body isolations, and the nuanced movement of contemporary dance in ways that are not part of the traditional handstand vocabulary, to both formalistic and expressive ends.
