Definitely a nice touch. I have been considering this for a while and I have always thought PVC piping would be a good conduit for protecting the wires but that makes the project much more work.

Heck yeah! I just bury them where nobody will want to plant.

Terrific video HandyGrandDadTV!!! Congratulations on the great news & very soon you’ll have two helpers to assist on all the DIY projects! As for the landscape lightning, you were the inspiration behind our landscape lightning project to light our home when you put out the first tutorial on your previous house. I’ve gotta say, adding landscape/hardscape lighting was the best ‘upgrade’ to our home/curb appeal that I’ve ever done. Thanks so much for the soothing videos, and I would recommend perhaps some soffit lightning to light the garage side of the house. Maybe you could even use the Govee pro’s to light only that area with the IC chip control.

Thanks. I would love to put permanent holiday lights on their house someday. Need to rent a cherry picker though!

You just taught this grandpa something Dad! Using the different warm colors is a cool touch!

It usually irks me when ignorant or lazy people mix white temperatures in outside fixtures, but it works well if done intentionally.

Is there a reason you didn't go with a rgb flood like like Grove so you could do seasonal lighting too? Nice video, you did a lot of good details with the lighting and how you did the wiring.

They’d be white for 11 months of the year. Simple 12V wiring is much easier and these bulbs will last much longer and replaceable if one burns out.

I think wire nuts are fine but i prefer the slightly more expensive wago style connectors with gel in them(volt lighting sells them).

Have you ever thought about hanging a pendant lights from the ceiling of the entryway there the lights on the pendant Don't need to be really bright just a nice little glow and something there for interest something like a big oval cage of sorts open no glass with bulbs
@handydadtv6 ай бұрын
That would be a ton of work.

Any good color lightings that might be smart youd recommend ?

I haven’t tried any RGB landscape lighting.

Waste of energy. Nobody cares about your house at night or day.

You’re entitled to your opinion but it’s a fact that Burglars don’t like bright houses.
