I'm Canadian so it obviously was no problem for me to watch it. We watched it together when he'd drop by. Good times... Corner Gas was my other favourite Canadian show. It's almost like the Canadian version of Seinfeld. I recommend it to anyone who has not seen it - and not the animated one. That was a rebooted version, which was watchable, but it didn't have the same zing as the original live action. And there is also Murdoch Mysteries. That was a pretty good series as well.
