@@HandymanHertzdo you have a video on the actual start switch? I have a Kenmore Elite with the electronic buttons and red lights everywhere. They all light up. My door switch is good and so is the thermal fuse and my drum belt is not broken. But when I push the start switch, it clicks, but then nothing. Any ideas?

I cannot thank you enough. I’ve taken my dryer part twice in the last week thinking something was wrong with it. I checked everything you listed and more, cleaned all the wires with a wire brush and even replaced the door switch since it was broken. The problem ended up being that the neutral was not connected properly….

We rent and the old Roper dryer wouldn't start. Thanks to your video, I wiggled the door switch and it started working again. The dryer never stopped when the door is opened, so the switch was broken from day one. At least we can use the dryer until they put in a new switch.

My dryer was working fine just not heating so i bought the whole kit off of amazon and replaced the heating element the thermostat the high limit thermastat and the thermal fuse i also cleaned all the lint out and made sure there was no blockage, i put everything back together and the dryer ran perfect for 3 days done probably 3 or 4 loads now today all of a sudden the dryer wont cut on at all it just makes a clicking sound when i press start!

Our dryer just stopped randomly working after a week trip away through a load in worked fine next load didnt start. But I can press the door latch and hand spin the drum and it starts right up. Just posted a quick video on my utube. Please help.

@angelwings0224 yes turns out the breaker switch was partially off somehow was not getting full voltage. Repair man relized once I said I can hand start but there is no heat.
