How did you get this out? I mean just strong hands to twist it or what tool? Lol I have one that may need to be replaced. Thanks so much for this!!

It was a screw in, so I rotated it counter clockwise. The base didn't want to come out, so I just used a chisel to help rotate it out. I hope it helps!! Good luck!! It shouldn't be bad. Maybe also take a photo of everything before you start working for reference.

@@jorgeg0828 Hello, if you're not able to unscrew, I'd dig down to the pipes. There's always a chance that whoever installed it initially used glue. If glue is involved, then it needs to be cut out. In this video around 2 minutes, I show how to cut PVC and glue it together. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqq1haWYepaWirs This is exactly the same method that would be used to repair the sprinkler if you did have to cut it out. You can also use pliers, or in my case, I used the tool to change car oil filter. Anything can work. Once I used the plier's handles (that are covered with rubber) to get the initial twist.

You can always just replace the inside parts without having to remove the entire casing. Usually its just the sprinkler head that needs attention.

Or go get the adjustable sprinkler nozzle. They are cheap and they have 360, 180, 90 degree.
