Ahaha i tryed today 2 minutes on rotating bar but i did only 1:15m.On a stable bar I have something like 5 minutes.I must train a week and then i must retry.

Was the rotation due to your body weight or did it spin electronically? And was the bar spinning freely or was it kind of slow? Wondering because I have a slow spinning bar at my house that I can get to about a minute on

You adjusted your grip at 60 sec and a few more times after that. On the spinning bar when you adjust it spins you right off so you have to be able to do the hang for 2 min without moving your hands at all.

AT some videos I've seen it's 100 seconds and some videos its 2 minutes. I didn't know alternating grip wasn't allowed though. That would help with the rotating bar because each hand would be pulling in opposite directions so the bar should remain stable in the middle and not twist (unless you over-adjust to one side).

It does, I did eighty seconds on a spinning bar, the truck is to roll your wrist up so that you engage the muscle on the inside of your forearm, I was twenty second away from winning a hundred bucks, I can easily dead hang for a hundred secs it’s my warm up lol

You did great! You might try a narrower grip; ears rubbing on arms. Keep your head forward slightly. Shift the load back and forth between your outer fingers (pinky and ring fingers) then inner fingers (middle and index). Don't over-rap your hand so that you are pinching the skin just below where your fingers connect to your hand. The fact that you didn't rap your thumb opposing to your fingers is huge; that is what I found to work well too. Good job, sir!

in the uk its 2mins for 20 quid. iv only seen 2 videos of people who have completed it. both was very slim. its an endurance test of the grip, so doing a pull up is going to waste energy. iv attempted it twice and failed, first attempt 1.15 and second 1.43. its one of those challenges that at 1 minute you "think I'm going to do this" then 20 seconds later your off the bar. its abit of a scam because the grip to body weight ratio only 1% of the population will be able to achieve. I perform it as an exercise now and again, even doing a single handed version

I held my first try at 110 seconds. I weigh 165, so I'm a little guy I guess. I can hit 20 pull ups no problem, so me getting tired all the sudden at 105 seconds threw me off balance. just a wave of exhaust hit me and I fell. 10 SECONDS AWAY! I'm thinking of going back to try again later this week. edit: the rule on the bar I was on was you can bend your arms or use a cross grip. I think that was it. I went barefoot, no phone or wallet, and took my overshirt off. couldn't handle it I guess lol.

I can hang well over 2 minutes on a stable bar and then a challenge came to town and I was all cocky thinking "no problem" but got there and it was a rotating bar and I barely got a minute and a half. Sooooo much harder

your not supposed to rest your chin on the bar. no rule against having it above the bar.
