Hang Gliding: A-I-R ATOS road trip - Part 2

Day 2 and we are catching the gondola up to the Tegelberg launch.
Felix wasn't with us but gave us a briefing: "don't land in the official field, it's nicht gut; you have to climb up the steps to the ramp sideways but take care as you will have one wing sticking up: on take off, lean a little right and don't let you left wing drag the tree or bushes: have a good flight, see you later!"
One guy let his wing drag the bushes... he was OK and his wing later went to A-I-R for repair.
We took off, had some local fun, flew the mountains at the back, in Austria and screamed back to launch, these gliders a seriously fast with flaps off, wafted around the valley and down to an arrival outside the factory.
That evening we joined Felix for his birthday dinner, many thanks.
Next day we had a looong, wet, wet, wet drive home.
Alan and I had a really good couple of days! Whilst this video may not be too interesting for you, it's a happy look back for us :-)

Those looks awsome! What is the real wolds main difference between the VQ and the VR? Handeling ,landing and performance? Flew hangliders during the 90`s. Then gliders. Havent flown anything for some years. But missing flying hg very much. Atos seems to fit the bill for xc.
