We used to land upwind of Insitu, not downwind. Does the property owner let people launch there, or do you have to sneak in? I last flew there in 1998. It's a spectacular site.

We used to be able to drive up behind launch using Ramsay Rd, but the homeowners changed it to a private road, prohibiting outsiders from using it years ago. Since then, we've only been allowed to hike to the launch either from Courtney Rd (SE of the launch) or Tunnel Rd (north of the launch), which is approximately a 2-mile hike. @@rickskater my last flight there was when the homeowners were just moving in but not yet stopping us from driving down their road and carrying in through their yard. We had a feeling that would end soon.
