Now, here's what I would call a perfect beginner song. It's real easy to simplify the few tricky parts of you're truly a beginner and just want to jam. But if you're more intermediate, there's enough here that it makes for good practice while still being fun to play. Me, I can ALWAYS use practice with doubles in my left hand, for instance, and there's enough of that here that I feel like I'm putting in some work. I also like the brief transition to cross stick and some of the unconventional things the drummer does throughout the song. Great tune, and once again, I'm ashamed to admit that I'd never heard it.
