Great video and very well presented. I'm thinking about buying this model as I like Hangar 9 planes. I'm flying their Meridian at present. Thanks for sharing.

I love the 4 star 40&60 a really nice kit and they are a blast to fly. Yes the 10cc Valiant is a fantastic flying model and a real keeper for floats, ski's for the snow and pulling gliders.

If you follow the manual , you will do fine , if you get stumped let me know , the only issue was the servo mounts for flaps and ailerons ..they made the servo sit, so the servo arm would not clear the slot in servo cover.

greart video and gorgeous plane. mines on the way. im thinkin power 52 100 amp esc, ill rum it on 6s. what do you think. is that ok
@radioflitercairplanes17154 жыл бұрын
52 is an excellent choice, 6S is more than you'll need ? But if you have the 100amp esc you can try it . Flys really well on 4s and 5s 5000mah

It's a nice airframe. The first clevis is broke , so I replaced all of them with Du-bro. Depending on what you plane to use for power, you may be able to mount your rudder/elevator servos in the tail. The one piece wing was a pain in the neck for me , I assumed it was two piece, just like the 10cc valiant. Overall it is a nice flyer. If you fly sport and enjoy big scale aerobatics, it's a fun airplane.

Any suggestion for balsa floats?
@radioflitercairplanes17153 жыл бұрын
I don't know of any pre built, but you mat be able to find the Old Carl Goldberg floats, they should be okay with this airplane.

Hi sir, what would be a good Servo? Or what did you use? Thanks
@radioflitercairplanes17154 жыл бұрын
Hello ! It really depends what your budget is . Look at the hitec HS 430 or HS-485 These are a decent servo without breaking the bank, there are better and more expensive from Hi-tec, Futaba , Savox ,and more I used Hitec HS-645 servos, because I had them from a plane I had just sold.

What do u think about a dle 20 in it?. Bought the valiant today
@radioflitercairplanes17155 жыл бұрын
First of all , you just got an awesome plane !! The DLE is way too much for this plane in my opinion ..I put a power 52 brushless in one of mine on 5S 4000mah lipo and it's got tons of power . If your set on bolting a 20cc engine to it , I would get the airframe together. Servos and all ..then hang the engine and see how it balances . Also DEFINITELY go over all the firewall and surrounding joints with epoxy and micro balloons. I use a syringe looking thing with a curved plastic tip (maybe you've seen them) and apply the epoxy like welds. Enjoy it , what ever way you go ..its such a fun plane to fly..looks killer with the flaps down doing touch and go's . I'm adding lights soon and will do a vid on that ! Blue sky's! Will.
