Most definitely stunning. I saw the G2 on the Cirrus website. I haven't seen any at Lorain County; but, I do know that Lorain Co Airport is a Cirrus dealer and takes care of Cirrus planes (I saw quite a few of props parked outside).

Hi Saulo…. I don’t own this Vision Jet so I have no idea if the owner has any interest in upgrading interior. Its probably more classy looking in person than the video depicted, although it is also the standard interior. I understand there are options to upgrade interior and exterior options. In fact, Cirrus has refinement packages that vary in price depending upon what refinements are done. Some clients may opt to replace just seat covers and others may upgrade everything from the carpets, seats, interior panels and customize everything

3:48 What are those white fins located at the root of the wing for? It looks like an antenna but location seems more like an aerodynamic purpose.

Great question…. They are called wing root Vortex Generators and there is one for each wing. The Pilot Information Manual (PIM) states, “The wing root vortex generator (VG) is a thin, specially-shaped plate attached to the fuselage, just forward of the wing root. The airplane is equipped with two VGs (one per side). The VG is shaped and angled to have minimal effect at cruise conditions. At lower speeds and higher AOA, the VGs produce vortices that help delay flow separation to maintain aerodynamic flow quality near the wing-fuselage junction, thereby improving airplane performance.

Hello Don, very nice Generation 2 SF-50. Question regarding the cabin door, is it a hydraulic assist or electric? You may have discussed this on a previous video. The Vision Jet has some pretty long legs with 4.7 hours flight plan time. I recall departing KPHL for EGCC with a 5:20 minute flight plan time in the A330.The safety start/stop features are impressive incorporating one additional step, as most jets have 1 simple start/stop switch. I look forward to your upcoming flight in this state of the Art Generation 2. Best Regards, Capt.Mark

Thanks for watching Capt. Mark! There are two actuator struts for the lower section of the main cabin door and two actuator struts for the upper portion of the main cabin door. Each half of the door uses the actuator struts to resist gravity and slow the extension of portions of the door. They also reduce the weight of the portions of the door as you move them toward the closed position. There is a pull handle to control the movement of the upper portion and two attachment cables to use to guide the bottom of the half down or up. Its all gravity assisted. The long flight from the Boston area was definitely not an idea scenario without having a means for a biobreak in flight. Surprisingly, getting busy and skipping lunch was a blessing that day. The planned route was supposed to be about 3H:30M but weather shut down the airways going over NY, PA and WV. I has to manage fuel from the time I exited the Boston Bravo all the way home by pulling power back to about 50 GPH. My flight log shows the flight was only 1138 NM.

Thanks for watching and for sending the question Werner! The gaps in the panels on this Vision Jet are pretty much the same width as I have seen on most of the planes I have seen or flown. In some cases, the material used in the crevasses may be a little glossy and have a different appearance. The material on this plane is fairly flat without gloss and it probably gives it a perception of it being wider than standard.
