I would like to improve my korean language skills to the point I can confidently engage a nativecKorean in conversation here in town, there is a growing community of native sourh Koreans moving to Savannah. Special request of my beautiful friend. This is the first sentence of the no rl manusctipt I’m currently working on . While English is my native language, I’ve adopted Korean as my “second home” language, having quickly fallen in love with hangeul, South Korea, and its very precious and lovely people. You love flowers and books. I don’t grow flowers (can’t, really) but I do write books, and Lord willing, one book I write I will dedicate especially to you, 나의 amazing 선생닌 and beautiful 친구 One of the things I most enjoy currently is learning about you, for this reason I found your Hangeul day video particularly delightful. Do you have a post office box -are there such things in South Korea? I’d like to send you two books on your birthday (one book is actually for your students.) Maybe there is another address I can send them to, a place safe for you but which you can use to recieve gifts from distant friends? I once overheard the Korean idiom “can a sparrow just pass a mill?” But I see you are a very industrious and determined sparrow capable of many accomplishments. Consonants can appear in both the initial (초성) and final (종성) positions of a syllable. When ㅅ is in the initial position, it always makes an “S” sound. However, in the final position, the sound changes. But don’t worry! There are clear rules for this, and once you study 받침 (final consonants), it becomes easy to understand. Your question is very advanced! It’s the kind of valuable question that only someone who studies hard can ask. If you follow my Hangeul phonics textbook step by step, many of your doubts about Hangeul phonics will be cleared up 🥰.
