I wish we had the PW and espoma fertilisers in Australia. Looking at what the best options are here. I have about 42 huge urns and pots and 8 small window boxes that nearly all need attention so I’ve been running drip tubing in each as I go thanks to you Laura! Thanks so much for your wisdom❤️🌷🌹

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what plant to use in a pocket planter that you hang on a fence. Mine has 12 little pockets. Very little soil and dries out very very fast! It was a GIFT from my son and his wife and don't want to give up on it. Every year is a total failure.

Donna u neeed to plant succulents in it. Easy to grow. Just don’t overwater them. Once every three to four weeks depending on the daily temperatures.

I bought my water soluble fertiliser from a nursery (garden centre). It's fabulous stuff!

I do not see why those coconut fiber liners are used! The water almost immediately runs straight out the bottom and they dry out faster than other types of hanging containers. It is seldom I have seen one with a plastic liner. The last time I used one, I tried a plastic grocery bag as a liner which was better than nothing but still not great.

Hello I have a problem with my petunias hanging baskets during the summer. I notice that the soil washes away to much and my petunias end up struggling and die. Is that something that just happens and I have to fill it with more soil throughout the summer?

Typically soil will settle when watered, so yes, fill in a bit with more soil as the summer goes on. Our Supertunias also thrive on quality water soluble plant food every 3rd watering. Consistent watering is important too, do not let the plant dry out and then water it a lot, check the soil and if dry to the touch water. Hope this helps.
