Can you please make a video about starting petunia seeds indoors and then transplanting them into a hanging basket to replicate a basket like this? Wondering when to start the seeds for a pretty basket come Mother’s Day

What is your fertilizing schedule for maintaining a large hanging basket? I am watering every day and giving bloom fertilizer, once a week and a 20-20-20 fertilize once a week (halfway through the week). Does this sound like a good routine? I live in Idaho where temps have been over 100 this week and we have low humidity. Thanks for your prior response.

Hi! Thanks for the video🌻 Just wondering, we do actually need to deadhead supertunias? I chose these specifically so I wouldn't need to deadhead

Hi!! Great video! I got two of these exact baskets, within 2-3 days I noticed one of the plants leaves started turning yellow, then another couple days the flowers color started to fade too!! Plenty of water, fertilizer and sun for both, what do you think I need to do for the sad one??? I’ve done everything you said here except the pinching, never heard of that, thanks for the great tip!!
@TheLawrenceGardenFarm6 жыл бұрын
If it's turning yellow, that could be a sign of over watering. Pinching a plant will have nothing to do with the coloring of the leaves, pinching is just for keeping it bushy and full. If you send me a picture of your basket, I could help you out a lot better :) Thanks for watching!

disagree with your dead-heading procedure, if you don't remove the seed pod at the base of the blossum it will go to seed which will stop the flower blooming process.

Thank you for watching, everyone has their ways. This is the way I have been doing it since I could tie my shoes, growing up in my parents greenhouse business, we've never done it any other way because that would take tons of time. I've never had issues with my baskets dead heading them that way, I've shown my baskets even through October. You can hardly see green because of all of the flowers. I just share what I know and what has worked for me over the past 25 years, and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and tips as well.

@TheLawrenceGardenFarm6 жыл бұрын
There is one plant in that basket and it is a 12" basket. That's a special performing petunia called Vista Bubblegum, by Proven Winners. They have 3 colors in the 'Vista' Series and they all perform amazing like this!
