Hanging drywall is minimum 2-person job, especially overhead. It looks like when they were hanging against the tight insulation, they really needed all 4 guys pressing up on it to hang each piece. It looks like solid work. Excited to see the finished product!
@ThriftDiving2 жыл бұрын
You are correct! The insulation really make it difficult for them. The plastic, too. Rockwool with a vapor barrier isn't something they usually encounter so it made it more challenging. But they did well and worked around it!

My husband and I were in business from 2000-2012. I am not an expert but I was an employee that did the work also. My husband and the guys were the experts. Santos Drywall did an EXCELLENT JOB!! The technique was spot on! Seams won't crack or the pieces above doors as long as it is taped and mudded properly, which was done exactly correct. I was so amazed at all the new tools, roto zip especially the sander. The worst job ever to hand sand!!! People will always criticize, it is more of not educating the expertise of a trade. Of course hands on is all the tricks of the trade that a book or video cannot teach you. So congratulations the She She'd looks AMAZING!! 👏👏Santos Drywall!!

Here's my 2 cents regarding the seems on the doorways. I was told bye someone I trust very much that most cracks are generated by air pressure moving around behind the walls. Your shed is insulated & buttoned up so tight that I don't think you'll have a problem with it cracking. And lets all be honest with each other.... drywall cracks all the time guys!!! LOL!! I give them a 10 out of 10. From what I see they did a bang up job... Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!! Drywallers are a completely different animal all together!!! In England we put the plaster board the other way and stagger the joints to stop it from cracking. Also the screwing technique is a bit behind, we use a drill with a magazine of screws much quicker. Also there would have only been two men,and didn't need vapour barrier, it was already insulated once..Doing a lovely so jealous 👍👍
@thepenultimateninja5797 Жыл бұрын
Those magazine-fed screwguns are readily available in the US too. They seem to be quite popular with people who build decks etc, but not so much with drywall guys. I don't know the reason for this, but my guess is that it's just that loose screws are cheaper, and the small amount of time saved isn't considered worth the extra cost.
