Just love your videos! I've been slowly watching them all. We are hoping to retire to AZ, or surrounding area in a few years! Need to get out of the midwest and cold long winters. You have been to so many places; where would you retire to?

I grew up in Illinois. Not a fan of the winter, humidity or tornadoes. I've lived in a few places around the US and definitely like Arizona/Utah the best. I plan on retiring here, right in Phoenix, so I'm a little partial. It's ridiculously hot in the summer, but you kind of get used to it. I also like southern Utah and northern AZ (Page, Flagstaff, the White Mountain area). Kind of depends on what you like; mountains, desert, big city, smaller town, etc. But the southwest is definitely home for me.

@@JerryArizona Seems like all the cool places to hike are driving distance from Phoenix. I don't want to be too far from a major airport, so I'm guessing somewhere in the valley we will end up! Keep up the amazing footage! I'll be watching for sure over the winter from the dreadmill in the basement in Ohio; dreaming of the AZ mountains and desert!

Dude! Are you a "Film Maker" full time?? You should be! This is "premium" material, and I'm glad your youtube followers get to enjoy. Really, this is exceptional.

This comment is REALLY appreciated. This is just a hobby for me, but I absolutely love it and put a ton of work into it. Sometimes when I make a video like this one, I wonder if anyone wants to see it because most people probably just want to see the trail guides/info, which I fully understand. But I love the process of shooting and editing and like trying new things to continue learning and improving.

@@JerryArizona You have great material on guides and info for sure, but's it's your original style, prospective and editing that could literally compete with high-end professional production. This video is an amazing invitation to "come outdoors and enjoy each other" and the great "wide open!" Being a relatively new Arizonian, after watching this, I felt an immediate "need" to pack up and head out! Keep up the good work man!

Beautifully done. You have a real knack for filmography. You should branch out more often the from the awesome hiking videos. Travel vlogs or something once things get back to normal.

Thank you! I have a few travel vlogs like this. Key West, Washington and a ski trip. Truth is, when we go on vacation, we usually go hiking somewhere. It is a lot of fun trying different styles though.

Nicely done. Did you pick some blackberries? We were a few weeks early...

Didn't see any in this area. Went up to Edge of the World/West Fork the week before and saw some that were weren't quite ripe.
