depends where you look. buying a game off the xbox live marketplace might be 60 bucks but i can get it at gamestop pre owned or something for say 40 bucks. all about looking for those deals. found a nice copy of Soul Blade on PS1 for 2 bucks when online its usually a lot more

@@115spt2 ya for most people itd probably be included in their home owners insurance but with James he might have a different policy since its a very high value collection and its for his business. I mean not only all those games and systems but he's got games like Nintendo world championship that are worth tens of thousands of dollars each so the entire collection must be worth a pretty penny. And since it's documented pretty well through videos like this you can pretty easily

Funny but true story: I grew up in the early 90's (born late 80's) and had the SNES.. but to play Sega MS/Megadrive (Europe...) I went to... my Granny's house! :D Seriously! She had them both! Even played Sonic and stuff but as we grew older she only played puzzle games like Mahjongg, which btw she STILL does (being 85) but now on a PS One. :D

The reason Simpsons arcade was never ported to home consoles back then is because Activision had exclusive rights to develop Simpsons games for home consoles, not Konami.

On the C64, after the initial LOAD "*" ,8,1 It will say "Loading" for a while, then when it comes back with "READY" type RUN and hit enter. C64 was how I initially learned my craft.

Speaking of VHS games anyone remember Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future? It was a 80's cartoon and the toys were space jets with a pistol grip and came with a VHS tape that you can play against and when you "died" it would eject the pilot out of the cockpit, it was pretty cool.

To people that say hard casing and physical boxes are obsolete "Bullshit" - I say to myself What happens during a war or if the Internet in the Neighbourhood crashes, or heck, your own internet dies for afew hours - how are you going to enter the server? How is that server gonna run? That $100+++ games, all gone All Gone, with that hard drive server space What if steam, Xbox market or ps network dies for some absurd reason? There goes your games Also, you can't look through my 100 games collection on my server or hard drive and say "what a badass" with that amount of games but You can and will definitely say "what a badass" if you see someone with 100+ physical copy of games and even better, if you bought them cheaper than the goddamn online marketplaces
