That was a clean game! Very nicely done :) The enthusiastic "now let's see my queen vs pawn technique!" right after missing 66. Qh1+ was also golden ahah

Without having watched the whole game,I remember what my coach had told me about whether to trade queens or not.The most important factor is whose king is weaker and here it's definitely not white's.

I was looking at Rxd5 already at 19:50 after Qh7, and after putting it manually into the analysis board Stockfish says it's the best move
@thinboxdictator6720Ай бұрын
I was looking at it too,but wasn't sure. but it was deffinitely best after Qf5

At 22:19 Always sac. the exchange! Live by the rules of GM Ben Finegold and good things will happen, even if you (like me) don't understand why you are doing it.

I like when you mouse hover the different lines you're calculating. It can be hard to follow the lines when you just speak the moves.

why do you post stupid questions?

Na that would be the catalan ;)
@crugy7Ай бұрын
Disagree. It misses the history and became popular only too recently. The g3 Bg2 setup also allows for less diverse pawn structures than the nimzo.

The title didn't exist at the time, but he was a world champion and played on a level that would constitute a top level GM in today's terms. Furthermore he was a sort of amateur chess player who was the best in the world, with PHD, and with a variety of interests besides chess in the era when resources for chess improvement were scarce ( and yet he played better than most of the modern GMs who have all the resources available). Unless you are trolling, your comment is really sad and disrespectful
