I have had around 100 interviews in past 5 years. Many of them ended with job offers. It actually is not so hard to shine amongst majority of people due to fact that majority is lazy and unmotivated. I always prepare for the interview. So you should always learn the information about the company, you should have the knowledge on the products of the company, you should think of the smart questions you will ask your interviewer. Be polite and calm, not to overconfident but confident enough. Don't "force" interviewer to give you a job, it does not help if you look and act like a desperate person. On the other hand give them your view as great deal worker who will be seeked by other companies if they do not hire you. And the most important thing - just believe in yourself and you can ace it. Hope this helps to at least one person :)

I disapointed about my seft, but after thinking I know that I have some mistake at communication and it make the interviewer uncomfortable. Okay quick question, I am currently a sophomore at the University of Florida, and would like to prepare as much as possible in the next year and a half to work at Google for a Non-Technical position. Now what are some specific fields you could advise me to become an expert in or to learn?

Why can't you just use a proper camera? Why do you have to force yourself using hangouts all the time? Why can't you just state the questions and then answer it? Nice tips though.

S🙉S! I've recently had multiple requests for Google hangouts interviews.. They'd reviewed my resume previously on a job site said they were impressed with my credentials and after interview questions told I'd Scored 92% out of 100 on interview questions.. . then asked for my address, zip, etc to send equipment and check to purchase as well as mail pertinent products to execute at home position. How do you determine if it's 'safe' 'legitimate' safe to send this info!!? THANKS!!!!!

You should confirm that they're actual employees before giving away your information. Did they have an @google.com email? If not, then that's a big red flag and something sketchy is going on.

I know! Trust me After investing how much time.. without someway to directly confirm I ABSOLUTELY! Don't give out. any! private info just frustrating!

absolutely agree I did not give out any personal information whatsoever even though it was a Gmail address two companies on the same day with a Gmail address had almost the same scripted interview decided I will not ever give out personal info that way!!
