Because teams, GMs, executives, and owner's all make it happen not 1 man. Without a great kicker teams lose. Do some homework. Look up Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills. He went to 4 straight Super Bowls and lost 1 when his kicker missed. Others were Bills defense. John Elway needed 11-12 years, Shannon Sharpe and Terrell Davis on offense to win his Super Bowls. Manning had the weapons on offense and was stacking up awards and wins like Lamar Jackson. It wasn't until he got Head Coach Dungee who fixed the defense. Then, Peyton Manning best the Patriots to win a Super Bowl. Lamar Jackson has time and this year could be it. Many HoFers and great players never win a Super Bowl because NFL football is a team game. This isn't golf, tennis, boxing, or track & field where you completely control your fate. Lamar Jackson, like all other QBs, are part of a machine.
