Such a tragic life. This is not my first introduction to Hank Williams, but as we age, life's experiences make you more aware of how things can affect you and do. So many similarities to what Elvis experienced later on with loneliness and prescription drugs. The talented ones are given many challenges. And, happy birthday, Elvis.

Bob Dylan said Hank was the best songwriter, I don't think anyone would argue with that. I listened to Dylan, CCR, Led Zeppelin etc. as a teenager, but later I discovered Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Eddy Cockran and Hank Williams. Hank for me stands out as a giant talent. We lost him far too soon, I believe his best work was to come, what a loss.
