I am 81 years old and have loved these songs with all my heart. Please keep them coming. It is about time we meet the song writers❤

I am 78 and live in Latvia, and as such am unable to buy the complete CFR shows, so thank you for these shortened versions - I delve into them every day.

I'm a song writer, I have lots of songs & I'm a Pedal Steel Guitar player. I have my first song published & it is on an album. I've been told by many people that my songs are great. But all roads to somewhere, are blocked to good talent, by those in charge. We don't want no new songs, they say. Well the New Country Songs aren't worth listening to. Hip Hop, Horseshit & Rap, won't last long, but neither will I. I'm glad you folks made it or we the people wouldn't have had good country to listen to....

This is “my” country at its best. I’ve been a fan for over 75 years and still can’t get enough of the soul. Bill Anderson (and Marty Stuart) are keeping in alive. God bless them.

OUTSTANDING Yet another outstanding show from CFR...and as usual Bill Anderson is wonderful in teasing little insights and comments from everyone on the room. It is true that many artists have recorded 'She Thinks I Still Care'........and the beauty and strength of the song is that it lends itself to most voices with its easy lilt and cadences. Frankly put it is very hard to sing it badly... I would recommend listening to the late Michael Nesmith's version of it. I reckon he truly captures the song as Dickie Lee intended it to sound. Three things: It's amazing how a great song gets even better when you have an outstanding guitar player. There is not one new singer in today's country music that can compare with Whitey Shafer. None of these people like to blow their own horn, as an example, Sonny Throckmorton sits there like he got lucky a couple of times and he's one of the greatest writers in Nashville. (Sonny is on episode 3)

If you just listen to him singing, Whitey Shafer on the song " I never go around mirrors" in my opinion could be easily taken for Merle haggard. Maybe I'm just prejudiced
