Hi, playing with the unit I discovered that if you want the power output active when switching on the main, you can do the following: with main power on, switch on the "output" button (green), then long press the "voltage setout" knob, display will flash. Now, if you turn off the unit then turn on again, output will be active, no need to press output button. This is important for unattended operation in case of blackout. To go back to default off, switch off the "output button", then long press "voltage setout". Hope this helps :)

You are my Hero! My unit came with output off as default and I really liked it because I use the supply for different applications with different voltage settings. So output off on startup prevents frying my electronics. So last week my kid was playing around with the supply and must have somehow changed the setting. This was the info I needed. Thanks for sharing.

I just bought one. It is slightly different despite the model number being the same, HM305. The difference is a USB 5V 2A output instead of the power switch on the front, the power switch is in the back. The USB output is not influenced by any of the front controls, not even the output button, i.e. it is always on when the P.S. is switched on.

Hi everyone - I have a lifepo4 12v cell balancing question: I am trying to top balance my 3.2V LiFePO4 cells, but can't get them the go above 3.3V (according to my multimeter). I've tried parallel charging them and series charging them, but it is going incredibly slow (0.012amps in parallel, 0.03 in series). I am starting to think that either my multimeter (2000 count astroAI multimeter from Amazon) isn't reading them correctly, or my charger (Hanmatek 5v from Amazon) isn't reading the voltage correctly, and therefore is giving them very little current. Can anyone offer input as to how to get them up to 3.6V so I can confirm they are top balanced with my multimeter?

god the timers for these things make the encoder worse than the potentiometer..... at least mine (cheaper too!) has a longer timer (10s-5s?)

Better for larger work areas. the EMT on the MPCNC will need supports as it gets larger.

That user interface is really crappy! The developer never used his own product!

Fortunately now that I've got it on 5V, it'll probably never need to be changed again!

There’s nothing wrong with the interface, only the joker demonstrating it .. balancing everything in one hand while awkwardly fiddling with the other. You should have had a practice before embarrassing yourself

@@graemehorseface8578 Disagree - I have this same unit and my primary gripe is that the timeout is so quick. You get 1 second which if you don't have the number you want exactly in mind isn't enough time. To save time my workflow is to start turning the knob moments before I fully pinpoint the target. Maybe not the best workflow but this unit definitely can't keep up. The interface really isn't great.
