You know Arabic has 12 million words but English only has 170,000 words. We have to work with what we have. We capitalize He only for The Creator. In English, Allah refers to Himself as We because we don't have anything better than the royal we. It is that way in every English translation I have read.

@@groundjitsu the word in english "beat" has been interpreted as such by some people however the word in arabic can also mean "strike, travel, set forth, set example, illustrate, to explaine, to seal, to cover, can also mean to take away, turning away etc". Now i cannot say that every muslim is perfect, and some chose the incorrect mean to suit them and beat their wives but this is not correct and it goes against the sunnah of prophet Muhammed pbuh. Wherver our prophet had a dispute with a wife, he would first remove himself and go to the mosque, if this doesnt work then he would give her the option to divorce. Under no circumstace would he beat his wife and no rightous person would interpret it any other way. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Treat women nicely…” and “The best amongst you, are the best for their wives, and I am the best of you for my wives.” And before Prophet Muhammad died, he repeated 'take care of women' three times, and he was crying when he said it. There are so so many verses in the Quran that teach us about the treatment of woman and in the sunnah, but tbh a person like you i would imagine would never seek these as it goes against you agenda. I find it funny how some people try so hard to smear Islam in regards to the treatment of women but the number of reverts to Islam is highest among women by a great deal. Islam teaches everything that is good for a peacful family life and yes that makes me cry and very thankful to be muslim.

@@groundjitsu The word used for "beat" in arabic has alot more meanings such as, "to forsake" "to remove" etc etc but even if you interpret it as to beat, it doesnt mean to make them black and blue, it means that in some cases as a last resort its permissible to use some force, eg what if the wife was hitting the husband?is it not permissible to use force to stop her?and what if the wife was beating the children and abusing them? Now, i cannot say that every muslim is perfect, thats not true at all, and some may use this to interpret it in a way that suits them but it is wrong! In no way shape or form does it mean that a husband can beat his wife in Islam. Our prophet pbuh as he was dying his last words were "take care of women" three times as he cried while saying it. And also if beating women in Islam was allowed, why is it that in court, its an immidiate ground for divorce if the husband has beaten his wife? Islam is the only religion that has given so many rights to women for the sole purpose of their protection, and its stressed in the Quran that we are equal to men in Gods eyes. I wonder why that the highest number of reverts to Islam are women! Islam teaches us to cherish marriage and the importance of family and this does actually make me cry!

These "miracles" are pure nonsense. Most require a stretch of the imagination. For example the earth's core is mostly iron. Iron did not come down to the earth, Iron was here before the earth and the earth formed on its iron core. I can go on. There's mention of the Sun and Moon's orbit. Ancient man thought the sun and moon orbited the earth so there's no miracle here. If the Quran said the sun, moon and the EARTH had orbits, that would be something. If you wake up in the morning you see th sun in the east and set in the west, you can say it looks like the sun orbits the earth. Was the Quran mistakenly talking about the sun's orbit about the earth or the sun's orbit around the Milky Way. You already know. Like I said, To say the EARTH, moon and sun all have orbits would be something for that time. But clearly the earth was left out because Muhammad did not know about the earth's orbit around the sun. These guy are playing with words and science to make nonsense sound like "scientific miracles." I'm not impressed.

So the notion that God sent down iron is not correct. Iron was here before the earth was formed. The sky's protection is wordplay and says nothing really. You have to ask yourself is he mistakenly thinking the sun orbits the earth like the moon or is he really saying the sun orbits the Milky Way? “Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted-Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs,” (Qur’an 86:5-7 The verse says that it is the “drop” that is emitted from the chest area. It is not referencing the testicles that descend from the abdominal area (not the chest). In addition, by definition, a drop is a small quantity of liquid that is separated from a larger body of liquid. Gravity acts upon it; and it drops, hence, the term “drop.” Drops are not in the human body. They are outside of it. Human blood flowing through the veins is not in drops; neither is the seminal fluid, which is emitted from the prostate in drops. It is the seminal fluid that carries the sperm from the testicles as it exits the body that then forms drops. Therefore, what the Quranic verse is talking about is not the testicles but the seminal fluid and sperm mixture that has left the body during sexual intercourse. It is the drop that the Qur’an says is formed from “between the backbone and the ribs.” This is an obvious and blatant error.

If you want to know the career and history of this great man in science, you can educate yourself and research more about him. He wrote a book called “The Developing Human” in which he said that this aforementioned composition is 100% correct according to modern science. (Noting that he is not a Muslim at all) He also said in one of his speeches: "I was asked many times: Did the bones appear before the muscles? Well, they certainly do. If you want to be logical about it, you wouldn't have muscles until you had something to attach them to, so you have the bones and then the muscles.” As I mentioned, “the author of the Qur’an,” its author is Allah, who revealed it to us with complete, modern and clear knowledge, and no one knows those details back then except the Creator. And if you are here to deny this verse and deny modern science just because the Qur’an mentioned it, then there are many other verses that prove the existence of Allah and the knowledge of the Qur’an that preceded modern knowledge. Also, just as this Qur’an guides those who truly desire the truth and seek after it, yet there are people who read it in order to find an argument for it and those whose hearts Allah has closed, for this reason they will always go astray in denying Islam, so be a seeker of the truth and not a hater of it!
