If she wanted leniency she should have pled guilty and asked the court for mercy. What she really wants is to not be held accountable for her actions.

@@miriamllamas224 Missing hearings, strolling in the court 30 minutes late, disrespecting prosecutors, disrespecting judges, disrespecting jurors, and disrespecting witnesses, propping his knee on the court desk, etc is NOT "defending their client"! The good in her heart should’ve started with her not pursing Kenneth Herring once she provided the license plate to the 911 dispatcher. As for defense attorneys, they’ll do/say anything, won’t they? Good people don’t shoot unarmed people after being told by a law enforcement representatives to cease following. Nevertheless, his argument was terrible. This stand your ground, open carry, concealed carry needs to be stopped. They’re all just loopholes for people to mete out justice as they see fit.

Heard a lot of criticism aimed at her lawyer, but honestly, the woman was guilty as sin. A blind man in a dark room could see that. So yes, he is awful, but what did he have to work with? The other thing is, I distinctly heard him say, in effect, that she is the product of her upbringing, and she did the things which resulted in the murder Mr Herring, because of that. So here's my point. Couldn't Mr Herrings family sue her and her family collectively, for depriving him of his life, and denying them the comfort of a loved one? I mean, if her lawyer said they're responsible for the mindset which resulted in her actions......

If it isn't his socks, its his cuffs. If not the cuffs then his tie. He doesn't seem to be able to sit straight in the chair. He moves the lecturn back and forth before returning it to the position it was in before he started on it. He was endlessly clicking his pen during his entire plea. I wondered if maybe it was a tactic designed to distract the jury, but I think that maybe he cannot help himself.

@@miriamllamas224 The 13 years was for the weapon violations, and they were consecutive to the life sentence. So she must do a minimum of 43 yrs, before being eligible for release.

Shameful closing argument. Mistake ( never mentioned that she took a life. - Remorseless KKK lawyer). She didn't step up to help . She wanted to police black bodies because of her racist upbringing. I see where she leant that black bodies has no worth and the only thing that matter is what she wants. I wish that they judge had given her life without parole. No redeeming characteristics, no remorse. I only see the characteristics of an evil person.
