Actually they do have a foundation that comes with a pump ,this one does not . To buy a pimp it’s 10.00 and is reusable naked you won’t have to repurchase it .

sure you will think this is nasty but i didn't take my makeup off last night before I went to bed. all i had on was mac studio fix foundation and powder and mac painterly eye pot bc i ran out of time to put on makeup before work yesterday. but when i got home from work last night, my makeup STILL looked so perfect - without any touchups whatsoever (and i work in a HOT, fast paced environment), that i honestly couldn't bear to take it off. LOL. and i was tired. so i just hit the bed. anyways, i got up this morning, looked in the mirror, and the makeup was still so perfect that I really hated to take it off! Like, I just wanted to continue where i left off yesterday. but i was afraid that was a little too nasty so i went ahead and took off my still perfectly perfect looking makeup and started all over. I, too, LOVE this makeup. The only beef I have with it is trying to get it out of the damn bottle! I just put it on with my fingers because, by the time I have a small dab out on my finger, the only thing really to do with it is just rub it on my face and then I want to pat it in before it dries. I have thought of trying to dab it all over and then use a wet beauty blender and was really curious to see if that was what you would do as well. But i haven't tried it yet. idk why, really, maybe i will tomorrow? thanks for this video, btw. and thank you so much for showing me the example of "flashback" bc....well, honestly, I didn't know what it meant. so, thx!! : ) i subscribed, btw. oh!

I visited a Mac counter years ago, and the guy matched me with NC 20 - I've not used the foundation since, but I went to use it the other day and noted that it is to dark for my skin and kind of yellow tone... Would anyone else agree that NC 20 is yellow base and for medium colored skin?

candice german yes it is. If your undertone is pink, you should go for nw 20-40.

Nc20 is my winter shade and it has nothing to do with the video shade, the color in real life is like the sand color for ash brown skin (light brown skin). Nc30 is light tan etc etc.

I went in and got some help from MAC today to help match my foundation, the lady helped me and applied a foundation but when I got home it looked so cackey and I could see my lines, what can I do to prevent this?

Hey Lovely! First step: moisturizer and a hydrating Primer! This foundation is matte and heavy so I always prep my skin with extra hydration. Secondly: they probably applied with a brush, I prefer a beauty blender gives a smoother less heavy appearance. Thirdly: after all my products are applied I use Mac Fix + and mist all over my face, helps the product to settle and if it looks a bit cakey it'll help take that away! If you aren't use to very full coverage heavy foundations it may take some time to get use to! 💖💕💕

My shade is NW13, the lady at Mac tested it on my skin and she picked a really dark shade because my body it literally so tan but she put it on my face and it was way to dark😂 ot sucks having a tan body and white face

I have recently started watching forgien channels and have learned that having a tanned skin is the definition of beauty but in areas like Pakistan India and Bangladesh having a tanned skin color is the definition of ugliness. There if u have fair skin like forgieners then you the the most beautiful person.

Okay you are not wrong, regarding the flashback. I just checked and silica can cause flashback and since you used two different kinds of the skinfinish, both the light & the medium, (they both contain silica) you probably got just a little bit of flash back from the 2 powders. I thought the picture was nice even though your face is a little bit light.

I brought the laura mercier flawless fusion.it was so expensive and it felt like something thick on my face.also i have no clue why it kept rubbing off on my nose when i was applying it.the texture is extremely creamy.felt so dry on the face.i hate it.so i went back to mac studio fix.i brought the new nc38 color and i love it.i prefer nc40 for the golden tone but it looks a little dark on me.

The studio fix foundation gets a lot of hate but you just need to know how to work with it imo. I think it does smell a bit like paint, but I still like it and it doesn't break me out. I prefer to mix it with another foundation though.

ok so a bunch of people that are my skin tone or fairer seem to be using shades (not just in Mac but all foundations) that I’ve swatched and are too dark on me? Is it just because the people using it are on videos and are actually darker than me, or am I just blind and don’t know what matching foundation looks like? Idk maybe I am pale but I don’t think I look very pale?

It could be a bunch of reasons - you could be paler than what you realise - we could be darker than what you realise - you could be swatching incorrect undertones. - you could be colour matching to the incorrect area. My recommendation is if you’re in store looking at shades ask for help! The people that work there will be able to match you correctly.

I tried nc10 at a store and it was wayyy too fair plus my skin is cool toned aka what Mac calls "warm" (I have pink/red undertones) so a lot of the nc shades look yellow on me. however, i was given samples of nW10, and nw13 and they match pretty well. I like nc13 a bit more as even if it's a tad dark on me I can just blend it down my neck (the thing about me and im sure most people is that my neck is a lot lighter than like my arms (my body) but I think its best to match it to my body because sometimes if I match perfectly to my neck when I put it all over my face I look like flashback Mary @@thepeerless25

Probably the lighting as it makes people's skin look flawless until they zoom way in and then you can see the imperfections. You really have to go to the make up counter and have them find you a match. Be sure to wear it for awhile and go outside into natural lighting to see the shade and if it has oxidized. I've used this foundation for years and love it. I'm nc15 and pretty fair skinned but I will have them color match me again because skin tones and textured change as you get older

Hey Lovely! Sounds like you just need some bronzer and blush to bring the colour back into your skin! Foundation and concealer is used to even out your complexion and give you a blank canvas so it's always nice to pop some bronzer and blush on to bring your skin back to life again 😄 Benefit Hoola bronzer in lite is amazing and I think peachy undertone blushes are perfect! Affordable blushes are just as nice as high end 💖💕

I have never had a single problem with not only this Mac foundation but any foundation ever causing breakouts. Only reason you could blame a foundation for causing a breakout is maybe if you have a sensitivity to an ingredient, using expired foundation or not removing your makeup properly when you wash your face 💖

Kind of wish they had an spf free version of this Foundation just for events and stuff! Aww Marilyn you're the best, they are just little haters! Isabella Johnson Yes I would definitely recommend it. I’ve tried loads of foundations and this is by far the best. It makes my skin look amazing, lasts all day and doesn’t break me out. I use the benefit porefessional to prime & Mac select sheer powder to set it down 😍 you can get a tester from department stores to try before you buy ☺️

Hey Lovely! As long as SPF doesn't cause you any irritation it will be fine and yes aok for everyday! It is just very full coverage and matte but if you don't mind that for every day than by all means rock it whenever!

+Casandra Morales Thank you babe!! Mac fix + is actually a priming spray so it's supposed to be used before makeup and then you can use it to spritz over the top after but it doesn't actually set your makeup like UD setting sprays would so you're using it right anyways haha! 😄💖💕💕
