Something I find so captivating and comforting about Hannah is that she manages to manage her femininity and overall fun while doing manual labor. From dance breaks to random outfit changes (not so much in this vid but in a lot of her other vids). She really just inspires me to learn things and try even if I make mistakes while trying. I also think seeing all of her things in her garage ranging from hobby items to power tools really put into perspective how she’s living life to the fullest. Idk I just think she’s cool

It’s really important to me that Hannah read this, so if you could all like/reply to boost this comment, I’d greatly appreciate it! Hannah - I recently got divorced and bought a great big old house for me and my kids. I’m struggling with learning how to be alone and be a DIYer, and your channel is helping me with both those things. Whenever I feel alone or depressed, I watch you and it’s like catching up with an old friend. I love seeing your adventures and all your projects. It reminds me that it’s ok to be alone and all those things that seem overwhelming and too big for me, aren’t impossible if I just take it one step at a time. Whenever I feel like I’ve bitten off more than I can chew, I just think “what would Hannah do?” And I figure it out. You remind me that it’s ok to make mistakes and take breaks, and not everything needs to get done today. You’ve taught me that that all I need to do to get things done is just START, and the rest will come. I haven’t done a whole lot with my house so far (painted the living room, installed a storm door, put in cat doors for my blind cat…) but your channel gives me so many ideas and so much inspiration, and I’m slowly gaining the confidence to tackle bigger projects. My house is definitely the new love of my life and I’m so excited about what the future holds. Thank you so SO MUCH for being there to guide me! Your amazing! And now I’m crying, lol. ❤🥲🏡🪜🪚😊

Hannah, I highly recommend keeping the current garage as your "mower shed" to store stuff like mowers, snowblowers, etc and build a new garage for your cars and fun gear. Kinda keeps the dirty, grassy, salty, snowy mess out of your main garage/workshop.

HANNAH girl you are amazing! I’m not quite a senior yet, but I was today years old when I learned you could put a plastic bag on a paint tray, then discard the plastic afterward!! I can’t believe I didn’t think of that before! We just moved to the country over the Summer and I have A LOT painting to do in the house and because of the septic system, I was wondering how I was going to wash and clean up paint tools...thank you, smart girl ❤🇨🇦

OMG, I love this! I love how you always just say "I'm gonna work on the garage." You get out your tools. And there you go... Come up with a plan, do some hard work, and it's done! If it were me, I'd just ignore it until the spring. Your videos are always so motivating. I look forward to them every week. Thank you.

If you draw an outline around your tools that are hanging on the wall, you will remember where they go. If everything fits in to its spot, currently you would be amazed how quickly you forget where you positioned tools to make them fit perfectly. And it looks amazing. The rolly thingy……geniuos.

You need a paint stirring tool that attaches to your drill! You could also get some solar lights for the inside of your garage, that you can turn off and on. LOVE the wood storage.
@sosexymagazinerobinwatkins846716 күн бұрын
Yes to solar! I was thinking of those round light things that you can put on the sides of your wall and you just touch them and the light comes on and off -they're battery operated. She could just strategically place them around the garage. Keep a mass amount of batteries available in the garage in a special place in a box right next to the door.

I think the view from the bridge would look fantastic with more aquarium rocks. Adding solar fairy lights or lanterns could turn it into a magical spot for nighttime stargazing, and there are even underwater solar powered fairy lights for a gentle creek glow! Adding colorful or glow-in-the-dark aquarium pebbles around the edges and under could add an enchanted touch too. Aquarium products are usually safe, but you might want to double-check with the DNR before adding stuff to the water. You could also try sealing the wood with wax or stain before winter hits otherwise wood might get dark and slippery. Love what you’ve done with the garage renovation! 🍀

Great job. It looks great 👍. There are many affordable steel building garage floorplans available. Build it bigger than you even think you need. Shops / garages are so commonly built on the minimal side. Then shortly after, the owner wants more space. Another item to look at, there are some good modern sheds on the market. Which can be used in conjunction with your garage plans and be placed separately from your garage. For a variety of items. However, those are just things to think about. For now you did a great job and it looks great 👍. One last note , there are some small battery charging units. That you can use with your bike and lawn mower. Because those small batteries don't last just sitting all winter. If you're parking them for the winter. Just pull the batteries as part of your winterizing for each of them.

Congratulations! Well done, Hannah! Even if you do plan to tear it all down in the summer, so what?! You’ve created a much more useable space now, which I’m sure will give you ideas for your next garage space. Iteration is a good thing! You might have already had thoughts along these lines, but in case you haven’t, I’ve got 3 suggestions from experience that might help you with that next garage project: 1) Before you tear down what now exists, you could ask around in your area, to find out if anyone needs materials for their own structure. Times are tough for lots of people, and you might get help with the tear down in exchange for them carting off what you no longer need; 2) Consider a circular driveway, which will help with your parking situation when you’ve got guests, as well as make backing out of your lengthy driveway less necessary; 3) If your existing breaker box can handle the load, you could dig a trench and run electricity from the house to the garage(s). We used to have a small farm, and there was no power to the barn, so my husband did that for us. You might want or need to hire an electrician - we were living in rural Alaska at the time, and there weren’t codes or other issues preventing us from a DIY fix for our power needs. Also, now that you’ve got more clear floor space, if you think like a Tetris player, you might just be able to squeeze Walter in there, behind or next to the motorcycle. Thanks for the inspiration with your wood storage. I don’t need wood storage, but I do need a structure something like that for another project. Now, I have some better ideas to work with. Molly’s welding helmet is pretty, and you managed to make a decent bead that didn’t look like bird shit. Good for you!!! Cheers! 😊
