I have changed the entire way I view clothes, purchase clothes, wear my existing clothes, all the things...based on the last few weeks of binge watching these videos. I'm now rewatching them. I guess what I'm trying to say is, please make more analysis of fashion videos! I'm obsessed🤎

Even though my style is completely different, I found listening to you talk through what you liked and why helpful. I don't know if you have any experiences like this- where you put thought and research into a clothing item and then it just doesn't work. If so I'd love a video where you talk about wardrobe misses and why- I'd love that.

I adore this video! I’d be curious to hear about your process of finding these images in the first place. Also, I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to hear you talk about your style in the long term. I am overwhelmed with content about trends, and I always feel so apart from that. This sort of content gives me an alternative, more productive way to direct my energy, and I’m grateful.

Absolutely adore videos like this! Please continue to share! The only thing that could make this better is if you would grace us with a follow up video 💕 I would love to see some of your ideas for outfits you could create, based on your new Pinterest inspiration, from existing clothes i.e. the ones you referred to as you were going through and showing us the photos. And then… I would love to see an additional follow-up video, as you acquire some of these pieces that you would like to add to round out your new style, and how you implement those with your current clothes and in new outfits you create 🤍

Hi Hannah! I’m a relatively new follower (I found you within the past year) and I genuinely love everything your work! One thing I appreciate is how you introduce yourself in the beginning of each video and explain your mission with your channel. I think this is such a good way to recognise what your “fantasy self” might feel or push oneself towards unwisely, and instead take the core of why a person is drawn to something and how it might be incorporated in a practical/realistic and sustainable manner. And that bubblegum pink sweater with the watermelon pants… *chefs kiss*

I love the point you made about the pink sweater! I feel like I often think, like, “Oh i should get the neutral option because it’s more timeless and practical.” But that’s not necessarily true! Because then I’ll end up with a closet full of neutrals and this gal loves some color. (Particularly pink. I love wearing pink so much.)

Also, I had missed these videos where you analyse one frequently triggering part of consumerism for many of us. The eloquence and reason you put into these videos are the main reason I fell for your channel and personality on here. Puts so many things into perspective, for clothing and fashion but also so many other trigger points.

Its interesting what you say about style evolution. I’ve had one main Pinterest style board for almost 8 years, and I often skim through my pins from years ago. Even though my style changed in some ways (mostly due to lifestyle circumstances and my age), I see a unique thread running through all my pins that helps me define my personal style. Now I understand which details, textures, colors, functionality will always be true to me, thus buying items I’ll love for many years to come.

I'm personally very into that orange sweater printed skirt situation. As a curvy woman, I am trying to play with this silhouette where I avoid an accented waist because I think that would be empowering for me. Beyond that, orange and lilac together is exciting to me.
@izzydean4038

I feel this! I am always so attracted to slouchy silhouettes, but as a curvy woman, I always feel like it's not "flattering" on my body. But I reckon it would be super empowering to throw away the mindset of clothes needing to be "flattering" or dressing to your body (i.e. making sure my waist or bust is accentuated), and dress in what I like and feel comfortable in

Wearing one of your Baba sweaters over a long printed housedress could be a fun outfit reminiscent of some of the looks you showed. The great thing about pale pink is that it can be easily dyed once you want a different color. I hope another dress up playtime will be coming soon!

Your descriptions are always so insightful to me, and especially now as you’re describing these monochromatic/analogous palates with warm colors. The main reason I started following you was for your makeup insights as a redhead, but I’ve found your clothing ideas to be quite influential now! I’ve always had a toned down wardroom with “boring” colors like tan, brown, rust, goldenrod (all usually paired with basic black) just because my red hair already seemed so noticeable and I thought I couldn’t do fun clothing on top of that. But I’ve started pairing my colors and textures in unique ways like this and it’s starting to feel quite fun! I can suddenly see why I had all those pieces, and now I’m making the most of them! 16:17

I make a new Pinterest board every month but I always, before pinning anything new, repin things from the previous months and that same month last year, which usually fills up my board to about 80 pins! I’ve found this not only curated my printerest feed, but also my personal style greatly. I find I very very rarely pin outfits with items or colors I don’t already own.

Hey Hannah! Ignore this if it isn’t helpful, but it occurred to me when you were describing what you are drawn to that you seem to be really good at intuiting your “Kibbe lines”! I’m pretty sure that you’re a Kibbe flamboyant natural, so the visual length counterbalanced by width (in the Kibbe sense of width) would be your guiding “style logic” under that system. And you seem to already know that on a certain level! :) But figured I’d throw it out there regardless in case you’re looking for more inspiration etc.

Absolutely LOVE this video! One of my favorite of yours ever! The way you describe things is so helpful it doesn’t have to be about whether or not I want a bubblegum pink sweater but about how I can think of silhouettes that I like things that I own in places where there are gaps. I don’t know how you do it but you take information that from Manny would be too specific and create themes that anyone can apply. Brava Hannah Louise Poston!

Have really enjoyed and felt spoilt with your content this week Hannah! This video nourishes me so much as someone whose weakness is style content and it also really seemed to hit the peaks of your poetic way of articulating things. It was just so lovely to here your thoughtful phrasing and vocabulary come through (as it does in all your videos). The financial diet interview was so beautiful- you and Chelsea had great rapport and chemistry and were so in sync in so many ways but also so opposing in others that it just made for a really thought provoking interview! On top of all that a Patreon video too! Thanks for all the work you continue to do! We are all so lucky to have you :)

I have been debating taking outfit photos of my wardrobe and keeping them on a board for inspiration. Being a visual person also, it can be so hard to remember exactly what a piece looks like on me or it will turn out that I was remembering it wrong and I think this will also help me to utilise my wardrobe more, rather than the same old same old. This video has really inspired me to begin my own idea but to also use this one as well. Hopefully the two combined will help me to purchase what will fit into my wardrobe and to create amazing outfits with what I already have

While I haven't set one up for myself (yet), there are quite a few closet organising apps out there, where you can do stuff like: take photos of your clothes, track how often you've worn them, set up combinations or let the app suggest combos. I think that might scratch a similar itch to a pinterest board, but has even more hands on, day to day usecases for things you already have.

Ahh! I loved the interior design video, so I’m so pleased you made this along a similar vein! 💜 I’m a relatively recent subscriber, and have been going back and catching up (gobbling up), and in a video a few months ago, you talked about mentioning quite a few products in terms of first impressions, but that you might do a more comprehensive review video of those various products once you’d had more time with them. That was in a video prior to your move, and I don’t know if it’s still in your plans, but I’d definitely love to see it! (No specific product, just in general.) (As I said, I’m in a catching up phase so please do disregard if you actually did make the video and I missed it!) I’m actually quite excited to be late in the game to following you (on the recommendation of Leena Norms, for what it’s worth ☺️), I have such a back catalogue to explore and enjoy 🥰 I’m a massive fan already!

Your thought processes around how to build the concept of how you want to present yourself & feel in your body are super helpful! I'm definitely gonna be making myself a Pinterest account. For most of my life, I've just adopted clothes from other people. And when I haven't, I've felt uncertain about buying something that feels like ME, so I've just ended up w/ lots of skinny jeans & lots of basic shirts or band shirts. Lmao. I still love those items of clothing, don't get me wrong!! Buuuut... I need new clothes. And while I enjoy my aesthetic, I've wanted to get higher quality pieces & evolve my style. Now that I have a few chest binders, I'm finally feeling comfortable enough to buy button down shirts & I have wanted to wear them my whole life! So that is gonna be a focus point. But I want to see them styled down. I own one that I bought for a wedding & I loved one time when I wore it un-tucked, partly unbuttoned, & w/ the sleeves rolled up on top of skinny jeans & boots. I felt like... I was a painter who got interrupted & had to throw on a pair of jeans to run errands? It was divine. 😂🤣 Anyway, that's enough rambling! Thank you for this video & your decor video. It has given me a great deal to think about for how I want my life to look.

Before stopping shopping for clothes I had no idea what I really used.. I was lacking in "normal" nice fitting clothes and had lost of event pieces even though I never go to any XD It's the feeling fancy I like, I guess. My wardrobe was very entertaining but impractical. And when I bought something I never thought of it as a part of what was already at home. It's kind of crazy when you think about it XD But I was just like "ahhh it's so beautiful" and not thinking any further. Now I actually have clothes to wear for everyday life. In regard to your comment about the silhouette of the pink outfit being different enough, that it takes away it's girly catalogue vibe: I find that I can't get that same distance. For me, the black pants and white shirt combo is too strongly reminiscent of my high school days (cause that was our uniform), that I still can't imagine wearing it of my own accord, no matter the shape and fit. Interesting

I think it does a lot to clarify the actual shape of my body, even though I really love oversized clothes. Karla Deras also has some good videos on KZbin about how she goes about buying mens clothes and tailoring them.

I love red too but it doesn't work well with my other colours. My palate is cool.

I love love love the maxi skirt paired with an oversized sweater or tshirt, it really shifts the vibe to something very casual and relaxed. Same with the lace top and slouchy trousers, same vibe. As a non-binary person I love balancing very feminine elements with masculine elements, it makes me feel deeply gender euphoric. If only I could grow a beard to balance out my very feminine curvy body!
