I appreciate that your decluttering is so real. I always thought everything was as neat as a pin in your home. It is amazing how much stuff we accumulate that we don’t need. Since I retired, I’ve been going through a lot of stuff… room by room, bin by bin. It does take time and thought, and sometimes it’s hard to part with things but they’re only things. I feel so much better when everything is organized and gone through.

Love how everything looked after you decluttered the rooms. Im 67yrs old and wish i could do that,but i have arthritis in my shoulders and lower back and can't take many medications since i have only 1 kidney due to cancer. I have PAH causing shortness of breath. My daughter helps some but she has a family. I was able to put some of your ideas to use in my pantry with my daughter's help. I find it is just a terrific way to combine the same items or like items together. Sometimes I ‘over’ organize and forget where I put certain items. For me, TAPE is a big deal. I find it all over the place, so to combines it into one place, it means I do not have to buy any for quite a while

Thank you Hannah! My goal for 2025 is to declutter, clean and organize my home. My plan is to pick a room each week and have one day dedicated. Just spending a lot of time in there and then an hour or two on the additional days of that week to finish and deep clean and organize. It'll take me 12 to 14 weeks to finish my whole house but if I do it all in one day it's too overwhelming for me. Thank you for this inspiration!

Another helpful tip decluttering with small children is to do it when they are sleeping or at grandparents. Otherwise, once they see what you are getting rid of, it will be what they want to keep. 😂❤

I declutter every year but not all at once. I will go room by room over the year. Otherwise it’s too overwhelming. My biggest struggle is the donating when I know there is good value to them. But…. I’m a ways out of town so that’s a bit inconvenient for everyone involved. Haven’t figured that one out yet

I sell on FB Marketplace..I am in a rural setting but there is Dollar Store a couple miles up the road and I do meetups there....have done really well selling but just don't overprice...people are looking for a bargain.. You can offer shipping but I don't want to get into all that

I did a whole house on Saturday w/ doing a rapid declutter, but I saved the cleaning portion for the next day. You are correct, gathering everything together is very satisfying to see in the end. I tell myself, "imagine that you have to now go find a place to put all this stuff away?"

Such a great feeling to declutter! I have been trying to declutter at least one space in my home per day. I homeschool 3 out of my 4 kids so whenever I have a couple minutes I try to quickly go thru things. Its always amazing how much stuff we have, and yet don't even use. We do change as the years go on, our styles change, kids grow, so alot of things we used to love just might not be our style anymore. May as well pass it on to someone that will love and appreciate it. I like to try to sell the nicer things too, what do you do with that stuff in the meantime tho? I am lacking storage closets in my house, so it has forced me to be more intentional with the things I have. I struggle with where to put the things I list for sale while waiting to sell. Thanks for all the inspiration! You sure got rid of alot! Lord bless!
