Looks like you embroidered your name at 40.50. I'm very new to this type of sewing and I'm mesmerised by our creation. Now I know why I haven't thrown any bits away for 40 years!!!

I bought a bobbin several years ago because I was intrigued by the strips using bobbins made by individuals on Pinterest. I put it to the side, because I couldn't figure out what to do with it. A few weeks ago, I found your tutorial on how to make the strips. I am having so much fun following along and creating my own fabric slow stitch strip. Thank you so much for your excellent teaching and demonstrations.

I'm making a square piece that will end up 12 inches x 12 inches on a stretched canvas in yellow/gold/orange shades with grays and beige. I have started making Suffolk puffs ( first time I've heard that term, we call them yo yo's) and I've made a couple out of squares of lace, stitched with a circle and gathered. They end up a lovely round puff with little ears sticking up. What fun this is.

I love it so much not as easy as it looks I'm used to glueing everything down but I'm not giving up it's so beautiful and I have so much fabric and a machine but can't sew. Pulling out all the fabrics and cranking on with it. Thanks for sharing I've found a new love. Cathy in USA

I am enjoying doing this so much. It is addicting!! I am creating smaller lengths with plans to use them as journal closures. I have completed my first one that is about 10 inches long by 2 inches wide in blues, yellow and gold colours. I started a second one in purple, lilac and white for a journal I am creating for my daughter who loves purple.Thank you, thank you for your excellent instructions and inspiration. 💞🇨🇦🤗💕

I am making two different rectangle pieces about 5 by 8.5 inches. I will be using them as small journal or notebook covers. At some point I plan to make a strip one like you are doing also. again thank you for all this inspiration.
