Hannu's Last Summer-Trip One, the First Two Days

This video shows how Hannu began his last summer. He made an early trip to the Swedish Lapland in June, 2017. The 26-minute video begins a series documenting his two last trips and contains much of the footage he shot during the first two days of the first trip.

He was a master riverman and outdoorsman, and inspired me to get back on the water in a Kaboat, just waiting for my SK396 12 foot Kaboat to arrive so I can enjoy it. RIP Hannu, thanks for sharing your adventures.

Hannu was such an inspiration and what I really liked in his videos was that his love and passion for nature was felt through the screen. He was also a man possessing some real Sisu, its evident in his videos. Will think of him when I go to Kaitum next year. I didn't knew this video had been uploaded but I think it was a great decision as it feels like it is what Hannu would have wanted, rest in peace Hannu.

Gone is a man who just loved his land, his swirling rivers.This is clearly seen in the films of Hanni. He shared with us the beauty of his native land.And in Russia, many people liked his ascents and rafting on the rivers. Let him rest in peace.

Sami , did Hannu die on the river where he was happiest ? Maybe you you can tell us more about him and yourself, your relationship to him. He had a simple hobby that brought him to nature that gave him adventure and thrills . He was alone with nature and was a part of it. I can relate .
