Manila is progressing forward, even during pandimic the growth and infrastructures, tall bldgs are up rising, almost any part of metro Manila... Navotas to bulacan has big changes and development... In aseans I think Philippines is truly rising because of urban development, next is Indonesia then Vietnam. Keep rising aseans family.... I hope aseans countries will be like Singapore one day. Manila was one of the most destroyed cities in world war 2. A lot of the historic and classic buildings built during the Spanish and American eras were destroyed during the liberation of Manila from the Japanese in 1945. That is one reason why there are more modern buildings in the city.
