I remember in the nineties when the former Norwegian socialdemocratic leader, Thorvald Stoltenberg was head of UNs refugee organisation, UNHCR. He said back then that it was their estimate that only 4-5% of those coming to Europe had an asylum case after the convention. People were motivated by better standard of living. This is more than 30.years ago. Recently published papers from 2003 shows that internally in the Blair government they knew migration could not come under control as long the human rights and asylum convention was a part of English law. They fear international shaming by withdrawing.

I spent over 3 months travelling in Germany in 2001, 2008 and back in 2010. I went everywhere. I was simply fascinated. Fell in love with the country, the small towns beautifully preserved, southern Germany' s landscapes and quaint villages. People were friendly and helpful as I couldn't speak German except for some introduction words. Yet...and a big YET in 2010, I came back depressed. Listen, it was way before 2015-16. But migrants already formed a huge chunck of the people in the streets, and everywhere I went I saw few German young people. Mostly middle aged or elderly boomers. Street shops were run by third world migrants and families, attendants would not look european in many and sometimes in most cases. Big cities made it clear to me that Germany,; that still charming country, was doomed. You may call me a pessimist, and you will be right. Although all reaction is necessary and I am all for it, I feel time is long gone to turn back the clock. Germany should have reacted back in 1980 when Germans were still a sizeable majority ( although with a lits of migrants already, imagine now). I am a boomer so I know what I am talking about. I decided never to go back to Germany, because I don't like feeling depressed. Because I have learned to love Germany but the state of that nation is deeply distressing.

@@PatriotischerWiderstandAfD You are wrong, the AfD is a radical party. Do Eastern European Conservatives prefer Russia over NATO? Not that I know of. Höcke and Krah talked of vast numbers of people to leave Germany, not only a few millions, while Maaßen shows more realism and lawfulness in this matter. Weidel is only a face. Not to speak of the intimate relationship of Höcke and unreformed Islam. Like the crazy multiculturalists, the idea of a reformed Islam is rejected as "Westernization" of Islam. (They have no idea how much "Westernized" Christianity has become since 1500.) Islam is intentionally not criticized, and the only problem with Islam they see is that Muslims are in Europe. This is not an option for Conservatives. Conservatives stick to reason and leave Romanticism to the radical Right. Muslims must and can adapt Islam to the standards of our "Western" humanism, as did Christianity (it is not really Western, it is ancient).

Since the majority of the third-generation Muslim immigrants will have German passports, it will be hard from a legal standpoint to force them to emigrate. Therefore, I propose that the think thanks of the conservative part of the German secret service and right-wing intellectuals will make sure that the following ideas take hold in the Muslim community in Germany: it is bad and sinful for Muslims to live in a non-Muslim country that does not have a Muslim tradition, and it is shameful and degrading for Muslims to live off the alms and the bread crumbs of non-Muslims. I’m sure that the Arabic-speaking members of the German secret service will be able to find the relevant passages in the Koran to prove the “religious truth” of these ideas. These ideas should constantly be shared in the public debate, to the extent that they will become part of the cultural underbelly-subconscious of the German Muslim population, hopefully resulting in the mass remigration of Muslim immigrants back to Turkey, Africa and the Middle East. Some Muslim "grassroots" movements of Muslim millennials and Gen Z'ers returning to the "holy Muslim fatherland" should also be funded.

Grammatically, he is alright. His pronounciation is just very old fashion (meaning he has that thick german accent) which makes sense as he was born in 1962, when you still had to learn english and it’s pronounciation from books.
