Hans Schmidt was born in the old Bavarian village of Aschaffenburg. As a child he dreamt of one day entering the priesthood. Unfortunately Hans had other dreams too; and these dreams were not the kind suited to such a vocation. On daily visits to the local slaughterhouse, his eyes would glaze over watching the animals being slaughtered and dissected. Carnal desires awakened in him, and he freely indulged them....with both sexes. Hans didn't see any problem with following his calling...and his twisted desires. And if his Bavarian parishioners didn't want his Benediction - then the good people of America would surely give him a church to tend his flock? His own people never understood how God spoke to him differently.... He would show his new parishioners just how devoted he was.

*HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!!* I'm going to be posting on KZbin selected previously locked Patreon videos that are approximately 1.5 (one and a half) years old. This is one of them. Many, many thanks to my patrons on Patreon for enabling me to keep going - bless you all! Some of the topics discussed on the 'blah blah' towards the end of video, because of the upload date, may no longer be relevant. Later videos are more graphic in content, and will most certainly be demonetised by KZbin; nevertheless, thanks to my loyal Patreon patrons, I will eventually post them here too despite KZbin's advertiser friendly policy. Link to my Patreon page and other sites under the description :)

@sos_legio_primus9177

Not sure it is unholy. The Eucharist is a cannibal ritual by proxy. To the believer, they are actually eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Christ/ God. Catholicism - heck Christianity is just a Roman pagan sun-cult dressed up in a single god; Hebrew/ Abrahamic lore and history. That is the reason you should not have sex with your mother (Emperor Constantine) as that leads to; you creating and enforcing the Catholic religion.

hate to say but it hasn't changed. As a matter of fact i stumbled across a cold case files episode about something similar. Another priest named John Feit was convicted of murdering a young woman in 2018. the only thing is that the murder itself was committed in 1960. He was also accused of assaulting multiple other women during that time. And guess what the catholic church covered it up.

Today I’m thankful my ex became a financial ruin because if he had kept paying for the life insurance policy, I’d been dead a long time ago. Makes me sad all the people who don’t protect the children. Maybe when this shit for a priest gets “resurrected” and comes back he will learn that lesson.

Oddie, thank you SO much for your tireless efforts to maintain your KZbin site. Your stories really are some of the best I've found on all of KZbin. It is a fond wish that I could support you on Patreon, but I am a disabled widow with an autistic son and trying to live on Social Security alone is terribly difficult. I know the meager amount you ask for is nothing to most, but believe it or not, it makes a difference to us! I hope you are always able to keep your channel up and running and I will be glad to show support in any way I can. Thank you again for your beautiful work. It shows how much you care!

This guy was something special right from the start. Just think, if his Father had not gotten him out of trouble as a kid...he might not have landed on the Priest scam. He still would have killed people, just not the same ones. Loved this one start to finish, you took a LOT of time on putting this treat together for us, and it showed. Talk about giving the police their entire case in clues that lead right to himself...you can see where shows like CSI have influenced the psychopaths of today. Love the new Bakery, your empire just keeps on growing. I think he had the poison for some euthanasia scheme he had conceived...he, a Priest, would help those who wished to die, this would also benefit from the blank Death Certificates he had tucked away. Love, light...and a happy Samhain to you too.🖤🇨🇦
@ObsoleteOddity
@ObsoleteOddity 4 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing he might be responsible for some unsolved crimes in his native Germany, and he felt that it was time to move on; possibly there would be some tracks that eventually lead back to him. He probably also thought America would be easy pickings and that he could get away with 'murder' - but for the diligence of that detective, he just might have. Such skilful investigating was not common back then....Herr Schmidt got unlucky....pity it wasn't much sooner. I think you're very right in your hypothesis, he probably planned to mix in some genuine euthanasia cases with some unwilling ones. Beau's Bakery has a nice ring to it doesn't it? lol - my business empire is indeed expanding! Take care my friend, also happy Samhain to you and Richard - love and light xx
@tamarrajames3590
@tamarrajames3590 4 жыл бұрын
ObsoleteOddity He might have gotten away with his German offences, having moved just in time. These were the days before INTERPOL, decent Forensic tools and equipment, and a cavalier approach toward the concept of preserving a crime scene. You are right, the Police Officer was a good one, and went to the effort of actually doing properly diligent investigative work. Our criminal Priest was arrogantly sure he was above suspicion (hiding behind the sanctity of his position and vestments). It is the careless ones that get caught, after years of getting away with it all they become complacent and start leaving clues behind.), which is ultimately what leads to their capture. Many thought of the USA as a place where the streets were lined with gold, land could be bought for a song, and the further West you went the fewer decently skilled Police or Sheriffs existed. Herr Schmidt gambled that the odds were in his favour in America, and had the Vatican not aided and abetted him (to their lasting disgrace), he might well have been caught sooner. I wonder how the Great War affected him...a lot of soldiers (even now) go directly from active duty back into civilized society...and it is very difficult to separate from the mindset of killing other human beings to one of peace and social equanimity. More choose to kill themselves (thank the Gods) than to kill innocent civilians. Even those who did not serve were impacted by the two World Wars (and all the other ones as well). War, with its losses, muddy trenches, loneliness, shortages and rationing, and so many newly homeless looking for help (especially to the Church), that it was a made to order role for him to predate from. As for your business empire...I DO think Beau’s Bakery has a great ring to it, as long as you make decent Eccles cakes, butter tarts, and cinnamon sticky buns. I MUST say however, that I was shocked to see (in your new Patreon) that you were letting out tenement flats in the Bowery District of New York. Now, I’m all for making a bunch...but you are in for a LOT of work if you intend to make your flats into something better than the Black Hole of Calcutta with the addition of freezing in the Winter. I wish you much luck in showing the other slum lords, like Mr. Trump senior the importance in empathy. Those guys came out of the War years broken, and nobody gave a thought to reintegrating them into society. Thank you again Oddie, this one made me think, and you know what that leads to. 😏🖤🇨🇦

@@tamarrajames3590 I agree with your thoughts on these topics Tamarra, and I'm sure there were a lot of murderers and criminals who actually got away scot free back then; but ol' Hans lucked out with that detective! Yes my bakery is doing well, instead of 'Berliner' buns, i sell 'Beauliners' lol and regarding my rooms to let, one must go with the times - but I do offer en-suite....well it's actually a cupboard alcove with a hole leading to the pavement below. :))

Oh definetly for sure. The Church as usual moved the looney around.He was moved to St.Boniface because it was probably a german parish. A lot of german churches here are named for Boniface, who was actually from britian and was a missionary to the germanic tribes. It is a known historical fact he cut down the Germans Sacred Oak , and gave them instead the Christmas tree. no surprise he was from bavaria, as bavaria seems to have been mainly Catholic, even during the Thirty Years War, though there maybe Lutheran pockets here and there. Parents probably wanted him to be a priest, beside his own decision in the matter. Kind of I suppose in those days a status symbol. My great grandparents were from Bavaria. Great grandma wanted great Uncle Bill to be a priest, since her daughter Eva, was a School Sister of Notre Dame. Bill didn't last in the seminary.Got thrown out when they discovered him sneaking back in from seeing a girlfriend. He deserved what he got in the end.
