I'm tired with all the "classical, old thing is always better" Hans Zimmer is a genius. Yes his music may be not as complex as classical composer's but I can feel what his music's trying to convey And the feelings it gives is out-of-this-world. I've never heard anything as "universe" as this

That is amazing, must be a father's dream. Meanwhile my 16 year old cousin listening to all her mainstream teenage girlish girly music with ear bursting women screeching/screaming in there, says very surely that this kind of music is "creepy" and weird (also the movie) with such an arrogant and condescending tone. T_T

Personally, as a tween who does appreciate some new pop music, I really think Zimmer's pieces are far superior to the other things I listen to. I watched Interstellar with my dad two times and I believe it's absolutely stunning and moving in such a unique way. Sadly, other people my age don't seem to notice the beauty of this music and I think it's really underappreciated. :/

I feel relaxed but scared at the same time as if I knew the end is near. I listen and I feel like crying but I am proud of who I am and the tunes tell me to get up and do more. This man is not a legend but a human being capable of distorting reality to make us think. Thank you

As a metalhead myself, I will never understand the arguments between country, rap, rock, and who is better. This is true music, music in the highest form of art. Though I learned to play classical guitar at a very young age and love Kirk Hammet style riffs with his classical undertones, orchestral pieces and vocals will always be the most vital and skilled form of music, ever. Mozart, Hans Zimmer, or even the vocals of Enya make Metallica looks like shitty punk rock with no structure and Rap loses the rest of the few chromosomes it had left.

Hans Zimmer was my very first love in music. I loved movies like Lion King, Muppet Treasure Island, and Pirates of the Caribbean because I had a real connection with their scores. Later in life when I became familiar with Hans Zimmer, I realized I had loved his music for as long as I could remember. I didn’t attend my first concert until I was in my mid-20s, but when I finally did, Hans Zimmer brought me back to my home town, to the very venue where I graduated high school. And holy shit…like that’s all you can say, you know? I sat next to this group of drunk dudes (I was drinking wine in a cab) and when Interstellar started, the guy sitting directly next to me stood up and started conducting. My fondest memory in life.

The movie was good. But what really made your hairs on your neck stand up was how the music and the feeling and tone of the movie were perfectly synergistic. Like, You feel what the character feels, hope, fear.. The pain of knowing he'll never get to go back and see his daughter again..

A L E C - L J this is a kind of improvisation of the guitarist, in the original song that is not like that, and there is no guitar.

Starting at the 8:18-11:38 mark is my favorite section. Reminds me of Rachmaninov-like melodies. Very enchanting as well as haunting. The Organ/Strings drive that emotion and wonder quite well together.

"Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night.!!
